Today is the day.
If it’s MCain/Leiberman we can recycle our Sore/Loserman campaign.
Fred has steady, highly loyal support but maybe not enough to get him to the top.
Poor Sissy Wallace!
I can understand backing Hunter but McCain has backstab us so many times what makes you think he is going to fight this war he will have a pow wow with the Dems and that will be the end of it!
He is loose on the borders etc.
Thanks for that link! I’m trying to help my 13 yo granddaughter get this process, that will help a lot!
Phoooey!
THey just said that horny county is large, has no results in and heavy Conservative.
Excellent! I thought he would do well here and we have enough votes to make a difference.
I agree. There is nothing GOOD about Thompson losing, and certainly nothing to “gloat about”. Thompson is a good conservative, and gave himself to us as a candidate for the highest office in the land. He deserves respect, not ridicule.
And while I can understand the desire to “get back” at people here, that is counterproductive to the task of putting together a conservative coalition, first to stop Rudy and McCain, and second to win the general election, and to get other conservative elected.
We won’t get votes for conservative candidates for house and senate if we have a person at the top of the ticket who is running against our platform and our policies. We need a candidate who will be talking about conservative principles. And that candidate needs all of our support, because if we stay home, our conservatives in elections for other offices will suffer.
And we won’t come together if everybody is getting people back for mistreatments real or perceived.
“I missed the middle part of Fred’s speech...where the microphone was acting up.”
Were you watching Fox, by any chance? I was listening to CNN’s audio stream and heard everything just fine. Not that I would accuse Fox of attempting to sabotage Fred... Never!
Anti-Mormon bigot!
I couldn't either but my husband just reminded me that SC is Lindsey Graham's state and Lindsey likes McCain so SC will go for McCain.
:) That was a nice piece of political judo by Thompson -- he used the media's own wrong assumptions against them.
LOL!
We can make them SOUR/Loserman signs!
The comparison doesn’t hold, commish. As much as I hate to say it, Huckabee is actually a contender. He could have possibly stolen McCain’s thunder. Fred, not so much. I never got the impression he was even trying very hard... and he was always uncomfortably cozy with McCain. Mark my words. Fred will endorse McCain.
I stand corrected. My bad.
