A Gold Medal for Mitt tonight
To: tennmountainman
He left Michigan earlier today, not even hanging around Michigan to give his concession speech. What a sore loser. What a nasty thing to do to his MI staff, volunteers, and supporters.
No Class.

"I know he wont, but after the way he has been treated, Duncan Hunter ought to run as an independent too."
You think that's a good strategy? The way he's been treated? I don't quite understand that, but apparently it means he should become an independent where he will get more votes. Right now independents are getting zero. Why should he give up his 358 votes out of 110,000 so far?

I wonder why the reporters are ignoring Wyoming results. Larry King just said there have been “three primaries.” Others also.

Hucky’s headquarter with NO Huckabee...Huckabee has already let town.

No. Odds are very high Romney tries to make appearances in both South Carolina and the far more important Nevada.
It’s about delegates. Nevada has more than SC. Also, there are fewer major competitors out there so a win there is a bigger chunk of delegates.
Expect him to try to hit both states. Both of them vote Saturday.

Is Nevada just for the Dems Saturday or when is the Republican one there? Both are Saturday.

Depends on who is counting. One source counts it like this:
Mit: 24
mccain: 17
huck: 15
fred: 8
ronpaul: 4
rudy: 1
hunter: 1
Another counts it like this...
mit: 30
huck: 21
mccain: 10
fred: 6
ronpaul: 2
hunter: 1
rudy: 1
This is BEFORE michigan. Michigan is worth 30 because they’ve been penalized half their votes. And in michigan it’s all or nothing. All 30 go to ONE GUY.

Is there a live thread on the boring democrat debate.
To: tennmountainman
The pollsters who were off by winner:
Zogby: McCain by 3.
Detroit News: McCain by 1
American Research Group: McCain by 7.
As I type, every single one of the major polling companies were way off on what Romney would poll. Only the Mason-Dixon has Romney in the 30s (30%), with the rest polling Romney in the 20s. Mason-Dixon does have Romney winning by 8.

no they don’t...many of the delegates will go to winners of cong. districts. Romney should come away with @ 25 of the thirty delegates.
