Today is the big day!
The OC Register says that his vote count is 746 at the same time that Romney got 89,978. However, this is a partial vote count.
I am now over on the live Democrat debate thread here http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1954367/posts?page=25
Bush 41 with Mr. and Mrs. Romney.
Good night for Mitt Romney.... the question I still have is can a Mormon win the Presidency? How far will the MSM go to criticize his beliefs. The Mormons do have some nice juicy targets to shoot at, unfortunately. It would be very interesting to see if the attacks would get so personal and if so, if there is a backlash. I suspect we would be learning a lot more about Mormonism if he wins the nomination. I support him on his political stance even if I don’t agree with his choice of faith. I could live with him as President. Very interesting indeed.
In other news... Cankles falling below 60% when basically unopposed. LMAO.
“Huck made his concession speech from SC too!”
McLame and The Huckster must be running scared, not to at least give their concession speech IN MICHIGAN, not SC.
If I voted for them, I would be insulted and feel used.
At 10, I think?
Think so. That’s what Sean said earlier today.
I really liked the speech too...Romney is growing on me a bit, he may have what it takes...magritte
Maybe try some local TV stations in Michigan.
So much for them lagging intrade indicators.
No, but Hunter is the TRUE winner! Romney stuffed the ballot box! ;-)
Win South Carolina?! I don’t know what the Huckster is smoking, but he will not win SC, the Fred surge is for real. His ads are all over the place and he’s been giving great stomp speeches all over the state. Huckabee has fallen nine points since the last debate.
If that happens, hopefully his supporters will go to Duncan Hunter.
Romney still has the highest net negatives on either side. I’m not sure he can win it all, but I salute his organization. I wish I could trust his conversion to a Conservative.
Michigan is WTA BY district plus at large proportional.
Lots of blue state Dem chairmen are nervous tonight. All the pundits said the GOP was subdued and lackluster going into this race....just knew it was hopeless.
Turns out we're fired up, excited about our candidates, have the right message, and we are NOT fighting over race/gender.
I really liked Romney's line:
"Some say we need a president who knows how Washington works. I say we need a president who knows how AMERICA works!"
I am warming-up to Mitt. He looks Presidential. In America, looking Presidential will take you a long way (sad but true)! He would clean Clinton’s clock.
Stripping delegates from Michigan and Florida seems like a pretty bad move for Democrats. Michigan might not be their most important state anymore, but it’s up there, and we don’t need to go into why Florida’s important.
