The only clue he would give is that they are a part of the Reagan coalition.

Blue-collar Catholics? Tax-cutting wonks? RKBA activists? Pro-lifers (already covered). Teamsters?

That’s odd, because everything he said about Huckster in the beginning applies to Romney also...:)

Right to Life means nothing...

When they started out years ago, they believe abortion was OK for the woman’s health etc yada yada yada

Thats never impressed me just because some group endorses a candidate...

The veterans endorsed Bill Clinton and he “loathed the military”

A President has to be able to get beyond the “personal” of an issue.

Thompson’s failure to attack McCain is an distasteful matter.

ROFLMAO...spoken like a true Mitthead.

Fred's looking out for fred, not Mitt.

Tell Mitt to fight his own battles. Damn boyscout playing army.

No, it says and the husband shall love his wife as Christ loved the Church

Yes it does. He did not lose his train of thought. Ephesians 5:21: "Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ." That is the context. That is the passage.

He got ambushed with an irrelevant, stupid cheap shot question by Carl Cameron and he handled it gracefully and forcefully, pointing out that the question had nothing to do with being POTUS. He should have asked Cameron to help him out with the context, knowing that Cameron probably wouldn't even know what Ephesians is.

The knee-jerk reaction of those complaining about the sermonizing is absurd in light of Cameron's loaded question.

And for the record I'm not voting for Huckabee, for reasons other than his extemporaneous exegesis of Ephesians 5.

Cordially,

Huck said the other night he is leading in FL. And tonight he said he is leading in TX. I live here and haven’t heard a word about it yet. Believe he said he is polling well in Calif and Delaware?

I love listening to Miller - I think he’s rather brilliant.

I think Miller’s right. Rudy is an extremely smart guy, imho, but perhaps is not for national consumption. I would still love for Rudy to be part of the cabinet or strategy on some level as I feel he has much to contribute, but the mainstay Republicans will not endorse Rudy as POTUS.

More importantly, we cannot overlook or destroy Romney or his chances for winning the nomination. The guy is so talented, great energy, moral values and business acumen, it would be a complete waste to throw that away.

Too much underhandedness by Mitt. RImours, attack websites...

Thompson by-passed a few opportunities to hammer Rudy and he hasn’t done it yet.

He even defended Rudy when Mitt was going after him saying we’ve all hired people we might not have otherwise in hindsight....

McCain came off (1) tired and incoherent and wandering aimlessly in a number of answers because he was old and tired. (2) Completely steeped in the Beltway mindset and framing of issues: “Yes I do believe in Climate Change!” (note the new formulation “climate change” rather than “global warming”. (3) Old, creaky, but handsome and sometimes charming if not heroic, but still — old, tiring and a mind either gone over the hill or beltwayian.

But one consolation is that 30 day rule...so if there are some Dems who want to vote in the Rep primary, they have to be registered 30 days prior to voting in the primary, and then they would have to decide which Rep do they want to vote for to mess things up...that would also mean-hopefully- that only SC residents would be registering and voting, none of this bussing in students from out of state on primary day...

I don’t know about Mich voting laws..will have to look them up...kinda makes you wonder—with all the seeming vote fraud that is going on, why isn’t there a Federal Law to regulate registrations and voting, to make things uniform throughout the country..States rights’ issues aside, this is just too important not to have a uniform national standard...

You were the one spitting on a veteran in not me

Post 3267...

“I’d spit in your face disparaging him like that...”

I was disgusted about your horrible words to one of my fellow veterans..

I was so astounded I made a joke of it but I see you were serious...

As a veteran, I take that personally.....

if you have a problem with veterans, you are in the wrong threads...

There are many of us in here...
