And Hillary is gonna break out the chains and whips and strap it on tonight.>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I wonder if they trucked the camel into New Hampshire, or sent it on to South Carolina?

Chris Matthews is a Clinton sycophant as 90% of the liberal media. But still to call “The greatest political upset in history” is the most laughable.

All it took was a few days' press (since Iowa) saying how she was going to lose big. The "Hillary could quit the race", "Hillary will lose New Hampshire by double-digits" talk lowered expectations to the point that her mere 3% win tonight is spun as a comeback of epic proportions. Funny that. Up until the Obama win in Iowa she was supposed to win New Hampshire by this huge margin wasn't she? A week ago this 3% win would have been considered panic time for this campaign.

Rush was right. Again. He called it, didn't he?

Good post Hattie...also saw where Independents can vote for either party....Bet they bussed in many busloads of college students from the colleges in the area-VT, NH,MA, maybe from upstate NY-SUNY-Albany, etc....with over 200,000 votes cast in NH, those had to be imported votes..

A little levity...
I wonder how many of Obama’s young supporters are on Ritalin still? Any chance they’ll just lose interest by next November? ;)

How would people view a Thompson and Giuliani ticket???

About the same as I would view a Thompson and Clinton ticket. NO SALE!

In fact, a    ( insert any name )   and Giuliani ticket is NO SALE!

Both Iowa and NH are aberations in the political primary process. Romney did get exposure in this process, something he didn’t have before. He didn’t have the name recognition that some of the others had. He also leads the field. You can take from this what you want but Romney is not going away!

His message is also getting out to the public. He will be very strong in future debates also.

There is more to all of this than just wishing Romney would lose.

In 2004, about 26,000 voters (out of 290,000 total who voted) tegistered on election day for the Pres Primary. See this URL from the NH Sec/State

http://www.sos.nh.gov/presprim2004/ppnamessum.htm

Presumably we can see when the final results are published whether there was anything grossly out of line with that number this time.

I understand completely what you are saying... I honestly don’t think I could stand ANY of them with the exception of Thompson and Hunter... Don’t know what I’ll do come November if neither one of them are on the ticket.

I seriously couldn’t look my kids in the face and feel good about voting for someone who I KNOW is a RINO, and the rest of the field appears to me to be just that.

I agree it is not a pretty picture. However if you look at the dimocRATS I see things that are a lot worse. Think of the Supreme Court Judges that will be comming up.

forget the Supremes.

How much can I rent the Lincoln bedroom for. Hotel rooms are real scarce in the district.

That is ture. In fact IIRC no one has lost SC and gone on to win the WH.

Doesn’t bode well for Rudy, but this years compressed format was not in place before FWIU...

Anyway, it’s why everyone talks about SC and not so much about Michigan and Nevada.

Good to know I’m not the only one who saw this as possibly a win-win. I have to admit I’m still going back and forth on the fence on thinking if I could even support my own idea! LOL

I really don’t like Giuliani, but as you pointed out... I don’t think there was one person who wasn’t affected by 9/11, and he saw first hand the day to day after-effects on all aspects of life...

Tough choices here. That’s for sure. It might actually be the only thing that would make Conservatives, AND the RINO supporters happy and possibly unite the GOP just enough to come together...

I reserve the right to change my mind tomorrow on this... Or even argue against myself on this idea in the future! LOL

Clinton had it. President Bush had the ability to reach his audience during campaigns too. IMO Bob Dole and Bush 1 (2nd term anyway) didn’t. That’s what concerns me. We have some conservative that are really good with issues but they are going to hard time being heard because they don’t have that “aren’t I cute” personality.

I’ll leave you with this one:

In the ‘96 campaign Slick Willie declared millions of desolate acres in Utah to be a national monument. But, as UT is solid Republican he went to Arizona at the rim of the Grand Canyon to make the announcement because AZ was “in play”. To stage the event they uprooted a bunch of precious trees so Bill would look better in the camera shot.

All the soccer moms fell for it: How nice, another park!

Later, we found out that under those millions of acres was coal {now off limits} and one of the only other places in the world it could be found was under Indonesian land, owned by the Riyadi’s, the crooks who “bought” Bill Clinton, way back in the Arkansas era. It was a payback on our dime!

These people are masters of the triple-twisting-double ganer-back-flip.

And they feast on nice people who take things at face value.
