Fred is my first choice and Romney the other. MCCain, Huckabee, and Giuliani would be a disaster for this country given their stance on immigration.

Old and Slow made a great President in the 80s. Young and slick got us just the opposite. Careful what you wish for. 4 of 5 of these guys are great candidates. I completely agree. And Reagan was an inspiration. A real leader. I don't see Fred in remotely the same light. I think Rudy is inspirational and would make an amazing President. I trust him. Go ahead...throw rotten fruit at me. I am a Freeper on the fringe!

He’s proving why Senators don’t get elected to the Presidency and I hope people are paying heed. Oh oh immigration now.

Yes, Romney did run a private corporation, and amassed several hundred million dollars of wealth from it.

That's my biggest fear about McCain -- the melanoma. You see the effects each time his face sags. I remember back to how Paul Tsongas said that he licked his cancer, only to die two years into the Clinton presidency.
That's why, to me, a vote for McCain would be strongly contingent on who his VP choice is.
