WRT qualifications to be president, McCain’s military experience 30+ years ago (I am familiar with his war record, and am in no way disparaging it in itself) is probably less useful than executive experience running private corporations, if that is indeed what Romney did.
I’m thinking Romney admires Fred too...and the wheels are turning. Would make a great running mate, but right now, he’s also thinking that if Fred keeps in the race, he’ll be more trouble than the rest of the gnats. A pre-empt offer?
The biggest thing I notice so far is that the incessant attacks on Gov. Romney from last night have totally stopped.
Wonder why? Overnight polling is a wonderful thing, isn’t it?
