I’m thinking Romney admires Fred too...and the wheels are turning. Would make a great running mate, but right now, he’s also thinking that if Fred keeps in the race, he’ll be more trouble than the rest of the gnats. A pre-empt offer?
Does anyone think that maybe, if Fred had announced at the end of 2006, some of them wouldn’t have run themselves and would have supported him instead?
