I agree with your ranking... I’m listening to the Frank Luntz panel that said Fred was a dud — did we watch the same debate?

Nailed it!

What’s the problem with Iowa?
We in NH don’t wear our religion on our sleeves!

I’m blown away that they summed it up so quickly!

I have never seen such whining in my life as the whining from the FRed! supporters on this thread. Enough already. Nothing is right or good enough for you people. They cut FRed! off, they jumped over FRed!, Fox is a bunch of liberals now because they don’t fawn over FRed! like we do....

Yadayadayada.

Ok remind me never to move to New Hampshire.
I’m sure its a beautiful state and all but
I have to be able to converse with people who actually
can formulate thought processes. sheesh.

The Huckster’s goose is cooked. And am very impressed with Mitt today. Unless Fred turns up the excitement level, looks like it’s Mitt. He’s a figher and I think he’ll stand up well to Clinton or Hussein.

The Lunz focus group didn't think good of Mike. But they also didn't think Fred did well, either.

They didn’t like Thompson. They all sound like democrats to me.

Well, this debate helped me settle my order of preference for the 5:

Thompson (far and away the best)
Guiliani
Romney
McCain
Huckster

The only thing left is whether I draw the “I won’t vote for anyone below this line” under McCain or Romney.

I won’t vote for Huckster period. I can hold my nose and vote for Romney. I can vote for Fred or GUiliani with some enthusiasm.

I don’t know if there’s a strong enough clothespin to make me vote for McCain or not. Time will tell.

Hank

Is it just me or is this focus group dumber than a bag of hammers?

Huckabee isn’t pro-life enough, but Romney is?

Religion on your shoulder?

Thompson isn’t a good communicator?

Have these people been paying attention at all?

My understanding is that they are not forced, that they just have to pay their own bills and that government will not pay them if they don’t.

Isn’t that personal responsibility?

The constitution doesn’t empower a lot of things that our so called leaders do in our name, that takes away our liberty.

John Mark Huckabee was in a wreck in Iowa but was quickly treated and released: http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5hV8Kfwo1kIdoXxQjVeJsCpbdK3bQD8TVFKUO0

I wonder how much of the focus group response is “group-think”

Winner in my book Mitt. And he is NOT my choice.

I agree, I could support Mitt.
