Unfortunately for Thompson fans, and then for the country, a candidate must succeed in the campaign in order to get into the Oval Office.

Unless the Fred heads can manage to get him in via the 25th Amendment, like Ford. If we ever have another President that way Rush and Fred are my top candidates.

Power blouse? Will she go man-tough, or whine like a little girl?

A comedian once observed that in order to get what they want, women try three phases.

1) Little girl

2) Sex kitten

3) Bitch

Hillary is old, and nobody will ever think of her as a sex kitten again.(*)

Guess what that leaves?

(*) even if the Huma rumors are true (how's THAT for an ironic switch on Bimbo eruptions?), she doesn't see Hillary as a sex object. And if some of the speculations about Huma's past and funding are try, she might actually be a honey trap. But I digress...

Cheers!

You have to be around liberals to understand the debate. Every one of them have BDS. It is unreal.

I don’t have a problem with having a temper, per se, I have one myself. McCain gets angry at things he shouldn’t and fails to get angry about the things he should. He gets along better with democrats and swears at fellow republicans.

Arrrggg. No Conservative Romney be.

(Also, did they have pro-abortion, gay rights advocates in the 50’s.)

There are twelve points of Christianity in the Apostles' Creed. To deny any of them is to be apostate.

There are key points of conservatism, too, though I am actually somewhat libertarian by nature. If a candidate's record violates one or two-- well ok. But on several points illegal immigration, foreign policy expertise, anti-tax or fee raising, pro-life, and pro-2nd amendment: Romney is deficient or fails. Guiliani fails. Paul fails. McCain fails big time. That leaves Fred Thompson.

The guy is a saint away from the podium. That counts for something in my book when I examine a man’s character. No infidelity, no chemical dependency, no massive scandal s . He has a strong will.

"...and funding are try"

should read

"...and funding are true"

Management owns up to the error but does not regret it.

See tagline for details.

Cheers!

I heard that back when I was a resident of that great state and they said he was overboard. That told me he can make the decision, yet may not use the expertise at his disposal.

That is true - and there is no individual mandate in his current plan that he is running on. Doesn’t matter much here, though, unfortunately.

There were not elected office contemporaries. Rudy wasn't Mayor of NYC until 1994.

Since when do they have to be 'contemporaries' for Rudy to distance himself from Reagan?

Although, I actually thought it happened while he was mayor in 1994--he actually tried to distance himself from Reagan WELL BEFORE THAT in '89 when running for mayor.

You're welcome again!

I’ve been subscribed to Fred’s myspace blog and email alerts now for about a year... I think it’s time to open my wallet.
I like the man. He seems uncomplicated and very direct in his message.... he is a conservative.

Fred believed in pro choice and amnesty for illegals at one time. He is a more recent convert to strong stances to both, but somehow you rail on Romney. Romney has been a conservative all his life and attested to by many.

Fred doesn’t want VP and would never settle for it. If he doesn’t win the nomination, he will prefer to go back to living the good life with the family he so adores.

Even if he did want VP, which he doesn’t, he wouldn’t serve with Mitt, whose supporters have tried to kneecap Fred’s campaign on several occasions.

First there were the misrepresentations of Fred’s prolife stance by “evangelicals for Mitt.” Then there was the “Phoney Fred” website which was tracked back to to Romney agents. Now, there’s the false rumor that Fred was about to quit the campaign, spread the day before the Iowa primary, and traced back to people inside the Romney campaign.

Mitt and his sleazey campaign are the last things that an homorable man such as Fred Thompson would ever want to be associated with.

Rather than listen to anything Cameron had to say with the huck sitting there, I immediately changed the channel before he, Carl, had even begun to speak.

I believe Fred would make the best Conservative president I will send him some money and support him.

But for me tonight it was kind of an El Cid moment with Fred, Sit him up and Duct Tape him to the Chair and ride off to debate.

Fred did well, but lacked the energy I would have liked to have seen.

I can not stand Romney to liberal for my taste but I think he won won this one and is looking to me the stronger canidate. (silent despair)
