What about Duncan Hunter?

I’m sorry. That’s all I can say.

What about him? He’s going nowhere. Time for conservatives to combine for Fred, otherwise we’re gonna Mitt McHucklebee as the nominee.

MSM appears afraid of him, has deliberately ignored him to prevent him from getting name recognition and prevent people from hearing his message. MSM wasts to decide who should be POTUS. Not allowing him to debate is outrageous.

He’s not in the Council, like Fred. They won’t allow him to go on.

It’s really sad and unfortunate for our country, that the best man for the job is being ignored and pushed aside.

He’s blackballed because he spent his time serving the country instead of saving his liberal coins to go to Harvard or Yale...the only pass to the big-shoe and celebrity in the country except hollywierd.

" ... In our republic, the role of the media is to provide information to the citizens, so they can select their leaders and help to decide the direction of our country. The media should not be choosing our leaders for us ..."

How very true.

Unless, and until, "debates" become real debates, and there is access to the "public" airwaves for all candidates (within some reason) to participate we will get the pap the MSM wants to let on the air.

One reality is that each of us must become informed "consumers". The other is that we have been dumbed down to the point where we accept these liars and charlatans as our leaders.

What About Duncan Hunter?

At least he isn't taking many votes away from the other candidates.

In our republic, the role of the media is to provide information to the citizens

There is no law to that effect. The Constitution simply says that the press is free. It doesn't say that it's free to accomplish X, Y, or Z.

It would be great to have a thorough, honest, unbiashed player in the media, but there is no requirement that they be so.

Hunter's role (and any candidate's) is to figure a way around the press. The issue is mass dissemination of information. The goal is to get your message in the hands of that mass audience better than does your opponent.

There’s an amazing quantity of articles about how the media is ignoring Hunter... does anybody see the inherent joke in this? Hunter has no support, and no money, if you want the media to pay attention to you it helps to give them a reason, like polling well, getting a measurable result in Iowa, or at least saying something controversial and getting somebody mad at you.

It’s a shame that this is happening because Duncan Hunter is his own man.

Hey, I have been baited, harrassed and even threatened(one of the other candidates supporters told me to get off Free Republic and never post again). It’s still not going to change my mind. I am a solid Duncan Hunter supporter. He is the best person for the job. I sincerely believe he is for the people and America.

The bottom line is I want real change and Duncan Hunter is the candidate that will do that.

I simply cannot understand why conservatives cannot see the best candidate in this whole unremarkable field of RINOs. Duncan Hunter is heads and shoulders better than any of these also-runs. He has 26 years of House experience, strong on military and border defense and is an extremely good fiscal conservative. If America settles for less than an extremely well qualified Duncan Hunter, we deserves the mediocre government that we will surely get out of the Democrats and all these RINOs.
