What about him? He’s going nowhere. Time for conservatives to combine for Fred, otherwise we’re gonna Mitt McHucklebee as the nominee.

Might be time for this conservative to bail on the stupid party.

If GOP picks McCain or Huckabee, there is not much hope. Both are for amnesty and perks for illegal aliens. Both are left of center. Both draw votes from Thompson and Hunter. A McCain win after a Huckabee win will send a terrible message regarding the immigration issue.

I admire Duncan Hunter. He’s a fine man and has been an outstanding Congressman - and would make a good president. Unfortunately (and unfairly, perhaps) he cannot get the nomination. I hope the next president - who I’m confident will be a Republican - will consider Hunter for Secretary of Defense.

So, what's the difference??? They all have the same goals, ideals, etc...

You're just swayed by personalities...

I've got one vote...It goes to Hunter...Period...

No, conservatives should have combined to get behind Duncan Hunter. The sell-outs will continue on with Fred. I will not be supporting Fred and the ‘electable’ reason for settling for him doesn’t hold credibility as Fred has no chance of winning a GENERAL election. IF he managed to get people to settle for him and vote against everyone to prevent who some consider worse(that’s nothing to brag about!) from getting the nomination-the GOP is in trouble with the general public because Fred is not the man.
