Is Hussein Obama the weakest Dem for the General election?
The New Republic Iowa Caucus ^ | January 3, 2008 | nwrep

Posted on 01/03/2008 9:07:11 PM PST by nwrep

Did the weakest Dem candidate for the general election won tonight? I think so.

By sending forth Hussein Osama out of Iowa, Democrats have unwittingly weakened their general election prospects.

Hussein's exotic mixture of radical liberalism, Kwanzaa Socialism, antipathy towards the unborn, and weakness against his jihadi brethren will all come back to destroy him against almost any Republican opponent, even the snake-grope from Hope.

I think we as Republicans should be celebrating tonight at the coronation of Hussein, in whose presence millions of Democrat women, from elementary school teachers to journalism majors to law school grads to dykes on bikes will go weak in their knees.

As defenders of this great Republic, and of the pinnacle of Western civilization that it represents, we should all come together tonight and agree on a common strategy that will keep the White House from becoming a madrassa.

God Bless America, Land of the Free.

Someone please tell these people Pres Bush is not running this time.

That's not the change thy're talking about.

They're talking about changing our constitutional republic into a democratic-socialist state.

There's already 70 declared Socialists in the U. S. Congress

Keep telling yourself that.

After watching 5 hours of C-Span coverage Thursday night I can only conclude the following--Iowans are retards.

OUCH! You hit the nail on the head.

He is much worse because there is at least a 50/50 chance he will reconvert to Islam once in office.

I think there is a better chance of you converting to Islam than Obama.

Is Hussein Obama the weakest Dem for the General election?

No.

He's their strongest candidate, by far.

If Obama wins the nomination, I expect to see Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton try to horn in on the campaign, claiming that it was their past efforts that paved the way for an Obama candidacy, and that he owes them.

And do you really think Obama will be idiotic enough to allow that? That would be like the Huckster winning and then immediately announcing that Pat Robertson is his chief advisor because Robertson prayed him to victory. These are not stupid men, regardless of what you would like to believe.

... even if he is as corrupt as Clinton

Ethical questions surround Obama's shady real estate deal and relationship with indicted political fundraiser and Arab-American activist Tony Rezko, who befriended Obama during his Harvard days.

Obama bought a $1,650,000 Georgian revival mansion at a gigantic discounted price, some $300,000 less than the asking price.  The same day, Rezko's wife bought the adjoining lot, paying the full $625,000 asking price.

The Rezko lot wasn't accessible from the public street.  However, it abuts Obama's property and  provided a private preserve that adds to its ambience.  Obama  bought the Rezko property for $104,500 -- $520,500 less than Rezko's wife paid for it.

Did Tony Rezko and his wife subsidize the purchase of Obama's opulent home?

Mr. Obama turned to Mr. Rezko for help at several important junctures. Records show that when Mr. Obama needed cash in the waning days of his losing 2000 Congressional campaign, Mr. Rezko rounded up thousands of dollars from business contacts. In 2003, Mr. Rezko helped Mr. Obama expand his fund-raising for the Senate primary by being host of a dinner at his Mediterranean-style home for 150 people, including some whose names have since come up in the influence scandal.

During his 12 years in politics, Sen. Barack Obama has received nearly three times more campaign cash from indicted businessman and Arab-American activist, Tony Rezko and his associates than he has publicly acknowledged, the Chicago Sun-Times has found.

Seven months ago, Obama told the Sun-Times his "best estimate" was that Rezko raised "between $50,000 and $60,000" during Obama's political career.

However, Obama has collected at least $168,308 from Rezko and his circle. Obama also has taken in an unknown amount of money from people who attended fund-raising events hosted by Rezko since the mid-1990s.

The deal included $855,000 in development fees for Rezko and his partner, Allison S. Davis, Obama's former boss, according to records from the project, which was four blocks outside Obama's state Senate district.

Obama's letters, written nearly nine years ago, for the first time show the Democratic presidential hopeful did a political favor for Rezko -- a longtime friend, campaign fund-raiser and client of the law firm where Obama worked -- who was indicted last fall on federal charges that accuse him of demanding kickbacks from companies seeking state business under Gov. Blagojevich.

If it is Huckabee vs Obama, I might vote the latter...or I will sit out the election.

If we’re going to get a nanny-state, let a democrat take the blame. And if Huckabee loses 30-40% of Republicans, there is no way to make it up.

He may be the weakest of the group but he is also the most dangerous in terms of liberal policies that will destroy this country.

Elections are all about unity and turnout. If you WANT something even worse than a nanny state, then go ahead and sit at home in a huff on election day, you’ll only have yourself to blame...

Guilt-free ? Like Willie Horton ? (Which Al Gore brought up against Dukakis in the ‘88 primary and used by GHW Bush in the general)

He won’t be the only one sitting out the election or voting 3rd party. I’m not voting for the Southern-fried Joe Isuzu Romney, the phony liberal fraud who gutted the AR GOP and left it for dead, in the general election. As for his pandering to illegals, I have to live next door to a colony of them. Worst neighbors ever and have ruined the neighborhood since they invaded in July. He can kiss my ass before I’d ever vote for Huckster. I’m sick of these RINO termites.

He will be once he’s exposed. He’ll self destruct, just like McGovern. Middle America will see thru this empty suit. He’s a media darling now, an unknown. His inexperience and nutty ideas will eventually trip him up.

I said "try to horn in on the campaign." Sharpton has his radio show, and Jackson has sycophants in the MSM that give him platforms. They don't have to be sanctioned by the Obama campaign for them to ride the coattails of the campaign and try to associate themselves with some larger movement that Obama spearheads.

At the very least, they can form 501(c)(3) organizations of their own that shadow Obama, and there isn't much that Obama can do about that except complain about it and distance himself from them.
