If Obama wins the nomination, I expect to see Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton try to horn in on the campaign, claiming that it was their past efforts that paved the way for an Obama candidacy, and that he owes them.

And do you really think Obama will be idiotic enough to allow that? That would be like the Huckster winning and then immediately announcing that Pat Robertson is his chief advisor because Robertson prayed him to victory. These are not stupid men, regardless of what you would like to believe.

I said "try to horn in on the campaign." Sharpton has his radio show, and Jackson has sycophants in the MSM that give him platforms. They don't have to be sanctioned by the Obama campaign for them to ride the coattails of the campaign and try to associate themselves with some larger movement that Obama spearheads.

At the very least, they can form 501(c)(3) organizations of their own that shadow Obama, and there isn't much that Obama can do about that except complain about it and distance himself from them.
