In all seriousness is Rush worried about Huckabee?

Rush (& many FReepers) keep undercutting what a POTUS can do to take on the abortion industry...reducing it to a me & Supreme Court judge thang.

But the POTUS can:

(1) Cut off funding internationally (Mexico City Policy) (Examples: Reagan & Bush)

(2) Reduce funding domestically

(3) Stir the conscience of the nation with his bully pulpit, his writings, his speeches, his conversations with Congress. (Example: Reagan)

Why do you pick on Thompson (who came in third) about him being finished or down the drain and no mention about McCain or Giuliani?

“Lol, per your logic, if our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ returned in all his glory as the leader of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.....
You would vote against him?”

Well, He is not going to...

Anyway the Lord Jesus Christ doesnt believe in the mormon doctrine or the “church of the latter day saints” so He is not about to come back as the leader of that cult

Anyway why come back as mere “leader” of the mormons when you get to come back as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and the Righteous Judge of Joseph Smith and all the other mormons????

Here’s what we have so far.

1546 of 1781 Precincts Reporting - 87%
Name Party Votes Vote %
Huckabee, Mike GOP 35,621 34%
Romney, Mitt GOP 26,524 25%
Thompson, Fred GOP 13,932 13%
McCain, John GOP 13,693 13%
Paul, Ron GOP 10,184 10%
Giuliani, Rudy GOP 3,613 3%
Hunter, Duncan GOP 458 0%
Tancredo, Tom GOP 3 0%

Here’s what I posted.

REP.IOWA.HUCKABEE 33
REP.IOWA.ROMNEY 22
Duncan Hunter 12
REP.IOWA.MCCAIN 11
Ron Paul 9
REP.IOWA.THOMPSON(F) 8
REP.IOWA.GIULIANI 4
REP.IOWA.FIELD 1

If you subtract my wishful thinking for Hunter, I got pretty close on the order and even the percentages.

Well, congrats to the Huckabee supporters on their win. And also to Obama, glad to see Hildebeast knocked down a notch.

Yes, he has that”star” quality that meglomanics can have. His ability to “hypnotize” an audience reminds me of a young Hitler. We need to pray that common sense will prevail. Prayer wouldn’t hurt either. But don’t be scared. Men/women only rule by permission from God. As the Mayor’s tagline says (loosely): A man makes his plans, but God directs his steps. We have to remember at all times just who is in control.

It’s funny. Edwards is making the rounds on TV, and he is almost giddy with delight. First, he’s just so overjoyed he didn’t come in last. Second, he’s overjoyed that he specifically beat out Hillary Clinton. It is obvious by his comments that this is giving him great satisfaction. Hahahahaha.

Rush was awesome on Fox. He broke through the BS and talked about the disaster for Hillary as well as how the media is electing Huckabee.

No, I might be confusing you with a close minded person.

Your beliefs do not make it a fact.

He HAS a secure server... This has been pointed out several times, but I know this thread is going quickly! :) I’m still catching up after taking a bit of a break. I think this was a scare tactic. If you go to the contribute page you can see the little lock that indicates an SSL page.

That’s a scary story there... A child [Huckabee's son] who tortures an animal has serious problems, and most of the time those problems can be traced back to their parent(s). Very odd, and that he would try to cover it up by firing someone just point to more problems, IMO.

I wonder if this has caught Mark Levin's attention yet?

Bill Bennett made that exact point on CNN earlier in the evening sitting next to Donna Brazile. He was extremely gracious and said it’s an historic day for us as a country- because Obama doesn’t make race an issue in his campaign- he doesn’t play Jesse Jackson games etc.
