They were definitely on UNC TV both on Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Lovely performance!

Rub it in! LOL!

I have DIRECTV and I never can find PBS.

SPOTLIGHT THE ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH
12/24/2007

‘Christmas With the Mormon Tabernacle Choir’
9 p.m. on PBS (Channel 9)

It’s Christmas Eve, and television — which started with the holiday specials around Thanksgiving — has just about run Christmas into the ground. But because some of you might be yearning to watch one more version of “A Christmas Carol,” or one final “Grinch,” writing an everyday set of Critic’s Picks seems wrong somehow. So here, minus the 41-cent stamp, is a little Christmas card from me to you.

What’s more Christmas-y than the Mormon Tabernacle Choir? How about the choir, carols and Sissel? The Norwegian singer joins the choir for a holiday concert, getting a repeat airing. Musically speaking, PBS has also scheduled “The Three Tenors Christmas” for 7 p.m. and “Christmas at Belmont,” featuring both carols and secular songs, for 10 p.m.

I understand that I could get it online, I like the old fashioned way, watching the choir sing in person with all the festivities that surround them.
I have a CD of the choir but we always had the choir up on the television so you could see them singing and pick out the sopranos and altos. It was just nice viewing.

Their concert was shown here at midnight on Christmas Eve/Morning on Metro TV, a lovely show with the singer Sissel, some beautiful carols.

Where am I? Jakarta, Indonesia!

Seems like the world’s most populous Muslim country did better than where you are.

I am so wrong that it was not on TV. I just never thought to put on PBS. I know that in year’s past that I did not watch the choir sing on PBS. It was on the MSM channels. I thank you for helping me and next year I will watch the PBS channel.

I don't watch the MTC....I didn't look for them on the TV but in all my channel changing, I never saw them....

years past, you could find true Christmas programs all day, all night....now, all you get is "A Christmas Story " marathon...which is a good movie but not all day, all night..

what really bothers me though is the radio programing..used to be able to have Christmas music on most stations...now, there was only one plus the Christian channel that played Christmas music....and the non-Christian station played commerical Christmas music, not religous music...

I agree..I don't like these times....most of tv and most all tv commercials are insane and insulting...

Oh NO, I put this in vanity and the mods moved it to News/Activism, I am going to get slammed!

Good for that mod...any freeper takes the war on Christmas serious is ok in my book.

Belated Merry Christmas to both of you
