I had similiar experiences with equally Good Men.

Per your homepage, Iraq vs WWII casualties, the MSM/DBM keep the sheeple in the dark, and unfortunately, the sheeple are about half the voting population, and could increase.

Something drastic has to happen in '08, ie. catch bin laden, Al Qaida surrender, or, I think we are in for another Klinton presidency, and maybe the end of the USA, as we know it!!

I shudder at the possibilities!!

Oh okay, you're a fellow "old timer". I've served under Reagan, Bush, Clinton and Bush and ALMOST went VQ right before I learned I'd put on khakis afterall.
