I was in basic and I had a DI ask me why did I join the Army. I answered, 'so I can fight and die for my Country, SERGEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT'. He said, 'wrong answer. You fight and make the other dumb bastard die for his Country'. I thought the DI was a genius until I learned Patton said that first. Now, I think Patton was a genius. And we sure could use more men like him too.
