I was there last March too. We had more people in March then we did in September. Do you know that we are going back this March too?
I had a blast in September. We carried that sign and we couldn't take three steps without people on our side wanting to take our picture. http://conprotantor.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html Go here and scroll down, you will see our picture. Anyhow, we were walking towards the capital and three Vets stopped us to take our picture. I noticed an older lady come over and take our picture too. I looked here over good and saw a code pink button on here shirt. I said, 'hey lady, see this guy' and I pointed to the feller in the picture with his head up his keyster and said, 'that is John Edwards. He messed his hair up and it cost him 500 bucks to get it fixed'. She put here camera down and then read the sign. She said, 'I don't think that is funny' and she started to walk away. One of the Vets says, 'you friggin' idiot'. Had me in stitches. I am glad I waited until she snapped at least one picture. Give her something to remember me by.
I think she saw the pink sign and people taking our picture, so she thought it must have been one of her people or something.

They might have warned me but they were outside scuffing up the mud while I was errantly sipping.
Fresh cup was too hot to drink so we left without it.

I spent about 3 hours one day making an Excel sheet with times for Baghdad (Allegra), here, AK (Ma), east coast, west coast, HI, central...it screws me up when daylight saving starts or ends, because then I have to figure out the math again. Plus we don't change the same time over here as the 'States so it has to change on different days.
Math and me is bestus friends...NOT!
