Exactly, AQ has said they did it and just like 911 there will be those who don’t want to believe it. Who is not a tool of the west to these Turd Century barbarians??
The Dems pretend we can negotiate w/these animals. Worse yet they will tolerate an assassination/attack as the price.
Putting your head in the sand will get you what Bhutto got her. The sooner we realize we are at war the better.
Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters

I just wish Fred looked better — I love him and will vote for him in the primary, but I am not sure the “old guy” looks can win in this day and age.

The big question that raises - how did the shooter/bomber KNOW where or that she would even stop in that location? Leads to there being someone on the inside of her entourage giving him instructions as to where to be and when. Yep

Way bigger. Watch the region... Looking at this as part of the repeat of the runup to WW I. Is this Sarajevo? Probably not.

This is indeed a big deal. You are correct.
To be honest, I am surprised she lasted this long.

Thanks for the update and confirming the AQ connection.

It is sort of in the same region of politics as Sarajevo, but this particular act is not of the same level, nor are international treaties set up as they were prior to WW I.

why are you talking about Romney here? For the same reason that other posters are talking about Giuliani, Thompson, McCain, Rodham and Obama making statements re the assassination. We still have freedom of speech on FR.
Appropriate or not, the potential candidates are weighing in and FReepers comment on those statements. Got it?

True, there are no exact comparisons, but simply a potential analogy if events spiral out of control.

I am surprised she lasted this long. This came as no surprise. The reason for the elections in January is the main casualty.

Their police procedures are laughable.
I can't get the video clips out of my mind that showed the police and these paramilitary A'holes beating pedestrians with their shoes and slapping them as they loaded them into police transports.
LOL......

Theocracies are the cruelest form of government.....maybe, however historically, at least in the 20th century, the cruelest form of government that killed a combined 100 million or so innocent people were Fascist/Communist, i.e., totalitarian, godless governments. Hitler, Stalin and Mao hold the combined record of cruelty, and they were the opposite of theocratic, unless of course you define then as god-like in their views of themselves. Just a thought.

Who benefits most from her assassination? Hillary, if Barak doesn't remind the public her and Bill ignored ALL the attacks on the U.S. during their administration, and her "experience" isn't worth squat.

if events spiral out of control We will see how far it gets out of hand. I would expect our leaders to already be putting the brakes on all violent reaction.

'What I mean is how do you kill a person who is inside her armored SUV.' She was also shot at in the head and neck areas, then had sharpnel wounds by the bomb blasts. I'm thinking they got her before she was able to get into her armored SUV.

She stood up through the sunroof and was waving to supporters.
