The anti-war moonbats might swoon over to the Republican Party to vote for him, but the nail might be in his coffin for many Republicans.

“I wonder how the paultards are going to spin this...”
They’ll spin it as some neocon conspiracy by claiming that it wasn’t really him saying those words, that it was a voice over.
Or they’ll use their worn out denials with a liberal dash of claiming it being “taken out of context”.

I’m waiting for the actual transcript since this quote is contrary to what he’s previously stated. :)

I’m sure his district in Texas must be embarrassed to have elected him. I heard there is a strong challenger for that seat. Goof-balls are honored in CA for being the worst they can be. He can feel at home here.

Yes there is, Chris Peden. He knows Paul well, used to work for him. As Paul is running around the country saying outrageous comments like this, Peden is diligently and quietly meeting and talking to the people of the 14th district in Houston. Peden has a surprise for Paul coming.

“So the attack on Pearl Harbor should have evoked what kind of response then?”
Turn tail and run, so we can stick our heads in the sand and pray we didn’t further anger our enemies by retreating?

This bozo only believes in defending our shores. By that logic there can be a 911 or a Pearl Harbor every single day and he wouldn't do a thing!!

Paul has a moonbat, blame-America, explanation for our foreign problems, but his quoted statements are inconsistent. His first sentence seems contradicted by the sentence that follows.
"A president has a responsibility to, uh, you know, retaliate against an attack."
My response: absolutely, and some Americans are glad that our President believes that. Was he repeating a statement that should have a question mark at the end, the question being implied by the tone in his voice?
"I don't think there's been a good example of a need to do that throughout our whole history."
Maybe he hadn't had enough coffee that morning yet?
It would be like saying: "The U.S. Forest Service has a responsibility to fight forest fires. I don't think there's been a good example of a need to do that throughout our whole history."
The second sentence seems to oppose the first.

“If Paul actually said this and feels that the 3000 innocent lives slaughtered on 9/11 did not justify a retaliation, how do you feel about that?”
It pisses me off.
Pisses me off more than some paultard calling me a traitor because I don’t support the cut and run coward.
I lost friends on 9/11.
Because of that and the fact that my cousin and 269 others were murdered 19 years ago by subhuman savages I take the issue of terrorism quite personally. If I had my way, there wouldn't be any GITMO detainees and the entire middle east would be a parking lot for 2CAV's Barbeque 'n Ribs
