Discussing the controversy surrounding his latest campaign ad and the broader issue of his invocation of religion in his political campaign, the normally good-natured Mike Huckabee turned . . . cross on this morning's Today. And while contending he wanted to promote a kinder tone at this time of year, the candidate came prepared to take some pointed shots at Mitt Romney.

I gotta hand it to Huckabee, he’s very good at getting free airtime from all six major outlets nationally.
Ping to Today show list.
“I gotta hand it to Huckabee, hes very good at getting free airtime from all six major outlets nationally.”
The MSM has no problem giving liberals air time.
the horror ...Huckster has a cross in his ad.
geez
I gotta hand it to Huckabee, hes very good at getting free airtime from all six major outlets nationally.
The MSM has no problem giving liberals air time.
While we know thats true, Fox is giving him all the airtime he wants as well.
Whats interesting is the MSM apparently thinks this is something ‘bad’...and its blowing up in their faces.
He’s already “crossed” (off my list along with the Romulan and Julie-Annie)!
Plus he is a bomb thrower. That’s why like him.

Huck hammers the Evolution question
Um, looks exactly like a shelf to me. If it was a cross, that would be fantastic, but, it’s a shelf.
No....the "horror" is that the Huckster claims there was NO CROSS, it was a bookcase which is the case.
He is trying to say the PROMINENT appearance of a "cross" was unintentional...and a fluke..
Anyone aware of the care and study given Political TV pieces, must KNOW this is contrived at best, or a LIE..
The Huckster simply can't or won't be TRUTHFUL...
The Huckster's BA in "Bible Studies" should have taught him not to lie about the Cross.
If he was comfortable with a Christian message at Christmas - WHY must he deny the intentional use of a Cross?
I forgot to add...
If it was unintentional as claimed — why is the Huckster’s face OFF CENTER to more clearly display his Cross?
Of course it was intentional, so why not take credit for a Christian symbol while giving a Christian message on a Christian Holiday?
That’s a no violation, no penalty scenario from a PREACHER MAN, right?
Why did he feel compelled to lie about something as silly as that?
Reminds me of the Clintons - who would lie even when they didn’t need to...
The reason he is getting free air time is because liberals want Hucksterbee to win the primaries becuase they think he will be an easy kill in the general. I have to agree with them.
The vampires on the Today show hate the cross.
Actually I think the liberal MSM thought this would crucify both Huckabee and the GOP for being ‘to much into God, and being a Christian’ myself, and its backfiring.
But..but...but...they thought it was wonderful when Der Schlickmeister "found" those rocks on the beach in Normandy and fashioned them into a cross...
When we have a formidable candidate who mentions religion, like Bush, the MSM goes ape$hit. Does anyone remember when Bush said his hero was Jesus Christ? The libs and the MSM went apoplectic.
I think they remembered that quote from Bush, and believed it would be damanging to Huckabee, and lend itself to portraying every Republican in similiar fashion, KC.
The liberal MSM isn’t nearly as smart as they think they are, or that we sometimes convince ourselves they are.
Just because its on the television doesn’t make it ‘real’, or ‘correct’.
The MSM is blinded by its own bias, as we see every day. Listening to them, you wouldn’t know we have near record full employment, record home ownership, a good stockmarket, or that we are winning in Iraq.
Just a few examples of the MSM denying reality to consider in this context, there are many many more.
Hell, they think we really care about Britney Spears....(eyes rolling)
There’s really not that much difference in the networks.
A miracle maybe??
