COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — At least four people were shot outside of a Colorado Springs church on Sunday, but it was not immediately known whether the shootings were related to an earlier shooting about 70 miles away, authorities said.
I'm going with Marilyn Manson's remake of the Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams" and "Numb" for Linkin Park. Ugh. Predictable. Seriously.
Yep & soon as I finish this post I'm calling it a night. I'm sure there will be more news coming out before all is said & done.
I have found myself in deep trances and other worlds through the usage of this drug and have found my life radically altered and changed and by it. I found this drug to be a powerful driving force and easy gateway into a world of sex, other drugs, rebellion, homosexuality, alcoholism and many other dark things. I have found such an incredible power in this drug that will completely carry one's mind away into a very real spiritual realm. My mind is completely controlled by this drug and there is no way at all for me to break free.

The drug that I use and am addicted to is commonly known in our culture as… Rock Music.

Hmmm... Had problems accessing FR for a few minutes.
I did a quick read through on several threads at that forum. It appears that an alert member saw a post entitled, “You Christians Brought This Upon Yourselves”, in which the poster talked about killing people, and not caring if he himself was killed. The alert member contacted a mod on the site, who then contacted the FBI.

The posts referred to have been archived, but the FBI does have access to the posts, and according to the moderators of the site they have been in contact with the FBI personally and the FBI is investigating.

Some of his past posts that are (I guess WERE now — this changed since starting to write this post) still available point to a very seriously troubled young man who spoke of self-injury as well...

There is talk about what he alleges happened at the Youth Mission as well. One of the announcement threads contains a link to the allegations again YWMC.

Most posters to this "Pentecostal Survivors" forum blame every single failing or perceived failing of their parents on the fact that their parents were "P/C" as they call it. If the parent spanked them for anything at all, this is seen as proof that "P/C" engenders child abuse. Sigh!
The forum moderator's first reaction - after deleting "NMC"'s posts - was to blame the mass murder as being a reaction to "religious fanatacism" ---
The question on everyone�s mind, as it is on ours, is �How could this have happened?� What kind of religious fanaticism, and the response to it, drives this sort of behavior? How many more are out there just waiting to explode?
How convenient to be able to claim for yourself the mantle of victimhood to cover all your shortcomings! Never for the rest of your life will you have to ever take the blame for anything you do wrong! Because, you see, none of it is your fault! Were your parents drunks? Druggies? Then blame it all on them!
But what if they weren't in any of those categories? Well, then, we'll just keep looking for new "victim classes" wherever we might find them. How about: Were your parents Catholics? Pentecostals? Baptists? Wiccans? Yes?? That's great! There's a forum out there just for you, where you can find other people who grew up in the same USDA Certified Victim Class as you did, where you can whine and moan all day about 100% of your problems being blamable on whatever religion or organization your parents belonged to.
Victims! We're all victims! Nothing we ever do is our fault!
CAVEAT: I'm not saying that your parents cannot do anything to screw up your life while you're a kid. No. What I'm saying is that, depending on your parents' failings, you will be "dealt a hand" in life, so to speak - a hand that you'll have to play from. And some of us will start off with a great hand and others with a poor one. But where we go from there is up to us. Yes some kids who got a much better head start than the rest of us will have an easier time to advance to the next level. But those who start off far behind don't have to just sit there and never move off of square one, just because that's where their parents dumped them and left them. Think of the parable of the Talents.

I am not an expert pharmacist - but ‘supposedly’ all the shootings had some psychotropic medication in common.

I too have been reading through some of these posts... Very sad... Did you happen to see the posts of his poetry... As you read through you can see it getting darker and darker. He states in one part that he was indeed on medication (Paxil) at one point, but apparently not anymore... He talks about fake friends, etc... etc... Very sad. He also talks about many, many people attempting to help him — suggestions of counseling, changing doctors, changing medications, etc... etc... It seems like he didn’t take their offers of help seriously and fought against all attempts to help him...

I read his account of what’s wrong with YWAM. Much of it didn’t ring true. I can’t figure out what is authentic and what he has made up to put all the blame on YWAM for the falling out he had with them.
Not to be too far to the right but could this lady be everything they say but have been also working with LE. I’m not sure when these posts were reported to the FBI but she came in about 3 months ago. She asked for additional security. I believe her about the fasting and praying for guidance but could she have been expecting him? JAT
It really doesn’t matter if they are on or off the drugs... The fact remains that these are troubled individuals — or they wouldn’t have been on the medications in the first place. That is the point I’m trying to make. It’s not unusual to hear that these people have been on meds because the people who would commit these kinds of violent acts are usually deeply disturbed, and have serious mental illnesses to begin with... That’s the point I’m trying to make in all of this. If it were truly JUST the medication then these incidents would be WAY more common... As it turns out the shooter has apparently been on medication in the past, but according to some of his posts that were JUST uncovered he was no longer on those medications and was refusing all help offered to him... And, in reading his words it seems like there was no small number of people reaching out to him and offering him that help...

Exactly. Part of recovery is realizing that you are STILL responsible for your own life, and how you conduct yourself no matter what has been done to you in the past. Abuse is no excuse to abuse... The victim mentality just keeps people “stuck”.
Yeah, he was ranting specifically about YWAM in this one.

I did my DTS at YWAM Denver and Dale Lambert was my DTS school leader. I witnessed all kinds of insanity. Men would be making out with other men in the hallways, listening to all kinds of "metal music"(non-christian), smoke pot with each other while off base, there were rumors of sexual activity, both hetero and homosexual. Not that any of those things are bad...but....... Why was I told that I couldn't be a missionary because I wasn't "social enough"? I was told that I was "an introvert." Everyone else got to go on their outreaches except for a few who lied about smoking(cigarettes). The authoritarianism and hypocrisy is outrageous. The YWAM leaders would always believe that they had some special "connection to God" to be able to dictate and rule over student's lives. I'm not talking about simple rules like "no drugs allowed" but rather "we prayed and we feel like the spirit says that you're not loyal enough" or "we prayed and we feel like God says you're not to go on any outreaches." For just asking the question "why are we having a special group meeting tonight?" I was told "we prayed and we feel that you have a spirit of rebellion and if you ask or question anything any further we may have to send you home..." I was told that I could not watch an "R" movie at a movie theater even though several of the other students did...and yes, the leaders knew full well about it. The lack of knowledge and thinking is another story. Almost none of those people ever questioned the things they were taught. They always assume it's true and in matters of contradictory teachers and teachings, they'd just believe and follow whatever everyone's emotions were feeling. I remember "holy spirit week" where they tried to get everyone "baptised in the holy spirit." I went along with it just to stop people harassing me and asking me "are you still speaking in tongues? you better not stop doing that or you might lose the holy spirit....." I now know that the Divine Spirit is within all of us no matter what our religion is. Very few actually had answers in regards to salvation or "hearing the voice of God." A lot of the "prophesy" in those groups was/is nothing more than lower psychism. Sure, they can be accurate once in a while, but even then it's on a lower level. Just because someone is psychically/spiritually sensitive doesn't mean they know how to exercise it or have a trained mind. It also does not mean that they understand spiritual principles. It only means that they are sensitive to the lower astral levels. 1 person did get sent home for making an amateur sex video of homosexual nature....6 or 7 people were involved but only that one person got sent home. I know 3 or 4 others were sent home simply for smoking a legal nicotine cigarette. A few people got "talks"(slaps on the wrist) about their openly homosexual behaviour in front of everyone. They all went on outreach. For the record, when I was told by the YWAM staff 1 week before I was to leave on outreach that they did not want me on outreach, I asked them if I had done anything wrong. I ask them to clarify their reasons and they did make it clear to me that I had not commited any "sin" or done anything wrong...except for the one time I questioned, but that that was not the reason they were sending me home. They made it clear that they were sending me home because they "prayed to God" and felt that I was "not social enough" and was "an introvert." After having left I of course found out how true all those words about "we all love and care about you very much" and "we do care about you." really were....... I never heard back from them and when I got home....well.....back to the usual christian insanity at home and my parent's church. The fact is, in YWAM, and christianity, it's all about the Beautiful People. No, it's not just "one group of bad christians" but rather....almost every group of christians except for a few open minded non-evangelical churches. If you're an extrovert, and popular, then yes, there is plenty of love waiting for you in christianity. If you ask questions and want to understand things and/or desire a real and deep spirituality, or if you're just not popular...well.......you are considered as one of the horrible people and are either going to be abused or kicked out by "holy spirit love filled" christians. it's all about...... the Beautiful People........ If any YWAMer believes that I'm on the wrong path and that they have "The Spiritual Truth" and answers then feel free to send me a message, I'd love to discuss these things with you and discover "truth"(If I indeed have not found it yet).
Remember, this guy spent 5+ hours all alone on his computer all day and had voices in his head so YMMV on real substance.
