"A man is holding hostages in the Hillary Clinton for President Headquarters in Rochester NH"--just reported by Susan Wornick on WCVB TV in Boston
I am not defending anyone.
I think you dialed the wrong number.
LOL!
It’s funny, yesterday (radio host) Howie Carr said,
“this is like a car chase; it’ll be mostly forgotten
tomorrow. It’ll be a short item in “News In Brief”.
But it looks like the Post put it on the front page!
Expect much coverage from NH papers like the
Union Leader (Manchester) and Foster’s (not the beer)
Daily Dem. (Roch./Dover etc.)
We showed up but the peaceniks didn’t. Must be too cold for them. Little Bill and OCCASparky drove all the way up here for nuthin :(
For some reason, I thought about Hinckley when this guy Eisenberg emerged from the woods.
IMHO, all this does not accrue to Hillary’s benefit in NH. If I were a Dem up there, I’d be thinking that the sort of people chosen to work in her campaign offices around the country might be the same sort she’d put on her Cabinet; nominate for Supreme Court; make head of Armed Forces, etc. Liberal loony leftist bombthrowerss like Eisenberg.
I bet her staff and old creepy Carville are scrambling right now to distance Hillary as far as possible from this weirdo reaching out for her help.
Honestly, I think FOX did a horrible job taking hearsay as fact pertaining to the perps identity in this story. I think it was very unprofessional, and irresponsible journalism to say the least. Mr. Stanley’s family and his business were trotted out on national news for a WHILE before they got the perps identity right. A scoop? I think not. Too bad for FOX News as I much prefer them to CNN... However, this was not one of their finer moments in investigative journalism. CNN was speaking with the man himself so if anyone got the “scoop” it was definitely CNN (through no real “legwork” of their own though).
Yet FOX's goof pales in comparison with the deliberate fraud committed by CNN regarding the last presidential debate. How convenient the emphasis on this story helped to avoid discussion on CNN's dishonesty.
Agreed. Awful convenient for them. Some were even suggesting that the misinformation being fed to FOX was a “set-up” of sorts. Don’t know how true that is, but it’s awfully convenient given all the “coincidences” and the main subjects of the story, IMHO.
“I am new to this thread and I consent to being called a kook and a conspiracy nut, but I am at least 50% serious when I say that it isnt beyond Hitlery to orchestrate this.”
I agree with you 100%. But they won’t ivestigate the man much at all, they are already focusing on “sympathy” for him. I’d like to know what his background is, It wouldn’t be law by any chance would it? Just wondering.
I saw that on the raw feed. Corey Bennett (I think his name was) comes up to Cameron and tells him about Troy Stanley. Cameron yells into his mic "put me on, NOW." I can't believe Fox did this without getting confirmation from the authorities.
>>Oh, good lord, she was not facing disorder. The hostage-taking was over, and even when it was going on, she was not facing it. She was waiting for law enforcement authorities to deal with a troubled man, which they did, without anyone suffering a physical injury.
Yup
Clinton impresses with handling of hostage drama
Reuters (on Yahoo)
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton was impressive in the cool way she handled the drama of a man seizing hostages at one of her campaign offices, some voters and analysts said on Saturday. --snip-- --
Well,, DUhhhh..
Democratic presidential candidate U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) speaks to reporters in Portsmouth, New Hampshire November 30, 2007 about a hostage standoff in her campaign office in Rochester, New Hampshire earlier in the day. (Brian Snyde/Reuters)
There’s a lot about the Hildebeest to worry the average layman, and I can claraly see how the mere thought of her as President could have easily pushed this poor slob right off the deep end. I understand lithium withdrawl can have interesting and unpredictable side effects anyway, so if this guy tuned into that last debate, and was off of his meds at the same time, you can see the clear path to the unintended, inevitable and generally unpleasant consequenses..
In any case, you can be sure that her Highness will be out next week trying to repair relations with her voting base among the violent mentally ill...
The arrogance of her Thighness was oozing out, the attempt to make herself look "Presidential" and "in charge" calm and collected and having LOYAL UNIFORMED OFFICERS BEHIND HER was so obvious.....sorry but I think they may have found a mentally ill guy and bought him for a day just so she could have such an appearance in NEW HAMPSHIRE and on the 6 pm news.
So this guy goes to Hillary? And why is that? Because she is the Queen of course! She is the Ruler (Bush is just an imposter). She is the giver of all things. She is the one America must have back in her rightful seat of power.
Sorry - but this is so bogus and so staged and so nothing (nobody was in any danger).....and yet of course she is there with her "troopers" again solving the world's problems .....gag gag and gag again.
Heartfelt sympathy for you and for your beloved sister. Prayers.
