Apparently, they didn't taste like chicken.
Heck, I thought this was another article about the demise of the New York Crimes, the San Francisco Comical, the Boston Glob and other such dinosaurs!
“Dozens of experts are working around the clock to excavate the site. It was discovered in June during construction work for a new high-speed rail link between Madrid and Valencia. Palaeontologists, who kept the discovery under wraps, have until the end of the month to remove the skeletons of several hundred dinosaurs before the diggers move back in.”
They’re going to pave right over it? Can’t they build a bridge or at least give the paleontologists more than 30 days to study this unique site?
hopefully we’ll find more examples of partially fossilized bones. Get cracking! :)

I read the title, thought it referred to the drive-by liberal news media. Imagine my surprise when I read there were real dinosaurs :-}
I thought Lying, Bias and Misinformation was the cause of the Dinosawruhs dying out .... Oop-oop, oop, oop-oop wrong thread!
Prehistoric fossilized packs of Marlboros?..............
no that just led to global warming. that’s the real reason
Imagine : the Yucatan Meteorite didn’t happen 65 million years ago. Thus today it would have been Kentucky Fried Mammal...
80 million-year-old site
I am waiting for one of those dinosaurs to have left a paw-written note in English. We will then know the truth about their demise.
Many, many years ago, Time Magazine on their cover stated that the dinosaur died from their own methane gas. But no note was left to verify this.
Tell me that what produced this was not catestrophic.
What ever caused their demise seems to have been catastrophic although they just didn’t die off all at once. Unfortunately and realistically, we will really never know.
80 million years ago? I don’t think so.

Scientists had long believed that the diversity of dinosaurs declined sharply as they approached the end of their time on earth. Palaeontologists working in Lo Hueco, though, have been amazed to find a wide variety of dinosaurs from the period. "Everything indicates that the dinosaurs were enjoying great evolutionary vigour when they suddenly disappeared," said Jose Luis Sanz, the co-director of the dig.s/b, "Some scientists had long hoped to find a long, slow decline to extinction, and had even claimed to have found it" -- the Great Dying had long been a puzzle, though its very existence was often denied, and obviously sometimes (especially in Europe, and in some eastern seaboard schools) still is.
