Cheney Has Irregular Heartbeat

WASHINGTON (AP) - Vice President Dick Cheney experienced an irregular heartbeat Monday and will be evaluated at George Washington University Hospital.

The condition was detected when Cheney was seen by doctors for a lingering cough from a cold.

"During examination he was incidentally found to have an irregular heartbeat, which on further testing was determined to be atrial fibrillation, an abnormal rhythm involving the upper chambers of the heart," said spokeswoman Megan Mitchell.

Vice President Dick Cheney was back at work Tuesday after doctors administered an electrical shock to his heart and restored it to a normal rhythm after he experienced an irregular heartbeat.

From articles I read earlier today he was back in the Oval office for a meeting with the President at 7.15mm this morning was due to have other meetings during the day including another meeting with the President.

This evening he was also schedule to meet Israel PM and in the next week will be attending 2 fund raisers one in Texas and one in Missouri.

They’ll put him on warfarin, blood-thinner, and he will most likely be fine. Have to watch his broccoli intake and get blood tests regularly to keep the warfarin therapeutic.

Wow! Beautiful, as always! Don’t you do fondant icing? Looks like it, as it seems to flow so nicely. What flavors? Such a treat!

Yes that is fondant icing. It is rich fruit cake with marzipan and then the fondant icing on top the traditional British Christmas cake.

I normally do Royal Icing for mine but as I was mailing it I thought fondant icing would travel better.
