Fighting words
There's nothing Rush Limbaugh relishes more than getting into the middle of a good verbal brawl, and he's found one with Sen. John Kerry's spokesman, David Wade.
It all began when Mr. Limbaugh announced last week on his radio show that the Swift Boat Veterans for President Bush who challenged the Vietnam-era recollections of the Massachusetts Democrat in the 2004 presidential campaign "were right on the money, and nobody has disproven anything they claimed in any of their ads, statements, written commentaries or anything of the sort."
Mr. Wade?
"At first I thought, that's not Rush, that's just the OxyContin talking. Nonetheless, this is a despicable but unsurprising new lie from a man whose closest brush with combat came when customs officials tried to take away his Viagra."
Wow!
"This portly peddler of hate is once again wrong on the facts," Mr. Wade continued.
Ouch!
"Rush Limbaugh's ignorance and determination to divide Americans is just another reminder that you can't spell 'Rush Limbaugh' without the letters L-I-A-R."
Stay tuned, obviously, for round three.

The book is Unfit for Command. It was co-written by John O'Neill and Jerome Corsi. You are correct about the accuracy and documentation in the book. Kerry has yet to refute the facts contained therein.

Unfortunately, it’s not right to ignore John Fraud Kerry. There is some unfinished business regarding the man. He got away with treason during the Vietnam War, and his antiwar activities, along with those of the Jane Fondas, Walter Kronkites, and others, established the template which the Left is reprising for the Iraq war.

Noticed that too. The DemocRATS always default into name calling when their lies are exposed.

I believe back in 2004, the best pro-Kerry response came from Lawrence O'Donnell who (IIRC) said, "You liar! You're a lying liar who lies! This is nothing by lies, you liar!"
Mind you, that was not a good response, but it seemed the best they could come up with at the time.
Now, having had 3 years to work up a better response, it seems that they've come up with ... well ... pretty much the same thing.

On Veteran's Day weekend, this is especially appropriate to note. The Swift Boat Veterans for Truth definitely served their country a second time in 2004 by exposing the fraud JFK. Now, the MSM and Bill Clinton (ironically) use the term "swift boat" as if it represents an untruthful attack. As Rush said, nothing they pointed out has been refuted.
It reminds me of a quote of Harry S. Truman:
I never give them hell. I just tell the truth and they think it's hell. - Harry S Truman

“Swift Boat Veterans for President Bush.”
HAhahahaha...BS. John O’Neill doesn’t even like Pres. Bush.
I saw an interview where he stated he liked john edwards.

"At first I thought, that's not Rush, that's just the OxyContin talking."I believe that is a libelous statement.
Wade is implying Limbaugh is STILL taking Oxycotin.
If he has no proof, his statement should be actionable.

They can’t refute the arguments. Bashing is the only response left.
According to one of the Swifties that I know personally, Kerry was universally disliked. He was there to get his ticket punched. If he had not gone back to the states when he did, he might have had an ‘accident’. Carter upgraded his dishcarge during his ‘amnesty’ period.

John Kerry lied in the 70’s and he is lying now. My proof is that I served a “full” tour of duty in Viet Nam, John Kerry did not. Why is John Kerry the only one with a white uniform in Viet Nam, was that for his Saigon museum?
John Kerry is a liar. My proof is that I killed no babies nor no water buffalo nor no civilians. I killed a lot of trees but no humans Mr Kerry. You are a liar! My Purple heart was signed properly by my Commander and not by someone outside of channels. Did you sign your own orders for metals?
Mr Kerry was and still is a liar!
