Just strangeness in the system...

Taz’s kitchen disaster.

Made cream puffs yesterday.

Gonna fill them with 1) whipped cream and 2) custard.

Cream puffs in the oven.

Custard in a makeshift double boiler on the stove.. Whipped cream in a mixing bowl.

Egg whites left over from the custard in a bowl on the counter.

Whipping the cream and stopping to stir the custard every little bit.

Cream is not wanting to whip propperly..water bath comes to a boil...Need to beat a lot more.

Right hand with the mixer..left hand with the whisk beating the custard..

Timer on the oven goes off. Taz jumps..Custard falls into the water bath. Whipped cream tips over, mixer goes into the air still whirring, egg whites tip over..

Taz grabs the custard pot out of the water and the heat.

Whipped cream flying everywhere, up my counters, the blinds, me...Turn it off.

Egg whites sliding across the counter..Cream puffs getting very brown...

Started washing...

Custard was saved..Whipped cream wasn’t...Girls got the egg whites...
