I didn't immediately realize, as I made my way through the enrollment lines at college, how much it was going to cost me to live in Pasadena. My college had no dormitories so all students had to find off campus housing and transportation to get to get to school. Tuition averaged $11,000.00 per semester and the school ran 3 continuous semesters per year.
In a sincere effort to fund my education, I turned to my college financial aid office, where advisors never even suggested federal funding or grants etc. . They simply directed me to private loan companies, who were more than wiling to lend me twenty thousand dollars when I needed it; which was each semester. It was a smooth process.
When I decide that I "hate" someone, I go away and cut them out of my life. If "the world" would do that to us it would be a great day.
What you interpret as hate is really the world doing its best to convince Americans that America has something to be ashamed of because of the incredible success of all things American. Face it, if it weren't for the rest of the world doing their best to drag us down to their level, trying to prove that their own problems aren't their own fault, we'd be doing even better than what we're currently doing, which is still "The Best Country In The World To Live In!"

I honestly never voiced an opinion. I simply posted a site with a story.

I ask people here: why can’t we erase the hatred... the negativity.. and the difference that separates us as people? so we can connect again as human beings...

I am not saying I am right for posting the story.
I accept the fact that I may have been wrong.
But there is only one way to find out if you can do any good in this world, and that is to proceed ahead in the dark, usually to a group of critics.
I embrace all criticism as I do a warm handshake. If nothing else, I would like to say I stand among brothers and sisters here, even if you deny our connection.

But the recovery time isn’t on your ass. I had open-heart surgery in 2002 to correct a hole in the atrial wall. I was off work for thirty days. Following that, I had some limitations, but no excuse not to work. You seem to be a weak and lazy piece of shite.
What I did not mention was that the hole was discovered after I suffered a major stroke in 2001. I was out of work for roughly 40 days. My memory was shot, I had difficulty ambulating and I sounded like Porky Pig. My recovery took about 10 months, but not once during that time did I ask for a handout. I worked.
You want to talk student loans? The stroke cut my grad school career short. I was 12 credits shy of an MBA when it occured. I’m drowning in debt, but I don’t try to burden those around me with my bills. I incurred them.
Adding to the debt, I lost my job two months ago after being hospitalized three times (TIAs). This followed a separation from my wife, which left me a monthly $1,500 bill for child support. I suppose I could have tucked my man tackle between my legs and given up, but I start an executive position on Monday.
Joe, you sicken me. I am ashamed to share the same moniker. Anybody actually considering helping this mooch, please donate that money to a “charity” more deserving.
Here’s what you do, Joe:
Move out of California. Move to the South or Midwest where tuition rates and living expenses are more affordable.
Oh, and quit asking us for handouts.
