"This was when I was very very young, living in Paris, penniless, unable to get any kind of working permit... I had a friend who worked in what is called the Milieu, which is that world and she suggested to me one night, 'Look, you'll be my meck...' We would translate it perhaps... as pimp. We were earning our living together, this young woman and I, we made a rather good living, I must say. ... I had to accompany my clientelle to the Rue Pigalle, which is where these things occurred. And then I'd take them up to the room and I had to remain there because they were very nervous, they were young Americans for the most part... and they didn't speak French." |

There is a compsny that makes men’s ties, women’s scarves and boxer shorts with colored electron micrographs of various bacteria and viruses. They are a big hit at medical and scientific conferences. They usually sell out the stock they have brought.

I LOVE these things!!!!
All the Microbiology grad students (including me) at my school collect these. We can go to the bookstore and contract gonorrhea, syphilis, and herpes in one visit!

I remember in school seeing a animated VD film done by Disney. It was a hoot if I recall.

Of course there’s also my favourite “uncle” tactic- take them out for the afternoon and at the end of the day ensure that they’re stoked with caffeine and sugar before turning them over to mom & dad. Works best if the parents spent the day on something tiring :-D
