Chuck Norris Endorses Mike Huckabee for President
fox ^ | 10/22/2007 | CN

Chuck Norris does not vote for president of the United States. He gives the voting machine a swift roundhouse kick and Mike Huckabee wins.

So the joke would read after the martial arts star announced his endorsement Sunday for the former Arkansas governor.

"Though (Rudy) Giuliani might be savvy enough to lead people, Fred Thompson wise enough to wade through the tides of politics, (John) McCain tough enough to fight terrorism, and (Mitt) Romney business-minded enough to grow our economy, I believe the only one who has all of the characteristics to lead America forward into the future is ex-Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee," Chuck Norris wrote in a commentary posted on WorldNetDaily.com.

Click here to read Chuck Norris’ commentary.

Norris listed Huckabee’s upbringing, family values and the fact that he’s an avid outdoorsman as reasons for backing.

I like Duncan Hunter - don’t get me wrong, but how long can you ride a train in the wrong direction before realizing maybe you need to stop at the station and get on a new train?

I ride as long as my candidate can keep the train going. If Duncan Hunter decides to end his campaign, then and only then will I cease supporting him as a candidate, and whoever he endorses at that hypothetical point I will most likely give my support to.

I trust his judgment, I respect his positions, I admire his honor and bravery.

Until he says otherwise, I’m on the ‘long march’ with him.

Hope that answers your question.

Have a great day.

This will boost Huckabee’s campaign. Huckabee has great charm and presence. It’s too bad he was a mediocre Governor.

Too he has

Just to clarify, I really like the guy (Hunter) and wish he were doing better in the polls. He’s a true patriot.

Huckabee is for the DREAM act and illegal aliens. He does not support what is best for this country.

“Chuck Norris has competition and movie skills.
Lee was different.
Lee, however, is dead.
Chuck continued to grow.”

Very true. A better debate might be to choose between Chuck, Sammo Hung and Jackie Chan who were at least contemporaries. My opinion is that Chan is more a theatrical whereas the other were more dedicated martial artists.

Hung is from the same Peking opera tradition as Chan and Jet Li.

I’ll bet Jack Bauer endorses a real warrior, Duncan Hunter! Assuming he's not in jail for drunken driving on election day.

That is true.

But, he was only TRYING to get arrested, so he could work his way into the gang in prison to find who the connection is for the terrorist group that has a contact with a biomedical firm that cultivated a specific strain of neurotoxin that was discovered by Peace Corp volunteers during an outbreak of hemorrhagic fever and smuggled it back into the country in hopes of finding a cure for his Aunts boyfriends who is faking an illness who is ACTUALLY an agent a White Racist hate group that believes that 9-11 was caused to hide the TRUE events of the Waco attack and Ruby Ridge because the TRUE story was that Russian agents had infiltrated the CTU and Homeland Security by using a double agent in the Vice Presidents office who once had an affair with Jacks sister-in-law while Jacks father formed an off shore money laundering operation to supply funds for a revolution in a south African nation which has vast amounts of yellow cake that will be smuggled into an Arab nation that has been doing business with an Irish terror group that plans to infect the world by placing a virus into the dye used in all beers on St. Patrick's Day!

That is the WHOLE story, if you can HANDLE IT!!!

I no more trust Huckabee on illegals than I do Giuliani on abortion. It shouldn't take someone "seeing" the light on an obvious issue, nor are such "campaign conversions" typically honest or convincing.

Then, I guess you're stuck with a choice between Hunter or Tancredo.

> Taking political advice from Chuck Norris/Ted Nugent et. al. is about as intelligent as taking political advice from the Dixie Chicks. None of them are paid for their political acumen.

The Left take their political advice from musicians and actors all the time. So how is this different?

Got a problem with Christianity? GOD has unearthed more divine law than science ever will.

Yes, but we’re electing a President, not a clergyman.

And I say that not because I think a President shouldn’t be Christian but because Huckabee mistakes his Christian beliefs for things he feels should be legislated...like what kids eat in school.

I was actually talking about Chuck Norris here. He’s a fine christian and has a ministry with his wife to families. I would love to see a true, Spirit-led Christian president, though. Sigh.

I repeated it on the same night before someone corrected me, once I was corrected, I stopped saying it. However, Fred did vote against one of the items. I think you have demonstrated how vindictive some people can be. The chances of me voting for Fred are slim, you reported a fellow republican, and I am not too thrilled.
