The last chest tube was taken out this morning. Humble did his William Wallace/Mel Gibson impression by yelling “FREEDOM!!” He no longer resembles an octopus, his body is no longer full of tubes, wires or needles. They moved him to a regular room today, and it still looks like tomorrow will be his release date.
Within 24 hours we should hear from the man himself.

Thanks for the updates. It's nice knowing the noise coming out of Texas will be back up to normal levels before long.
I haven't been able to follow the thread very closely, so if anybody knows what started humblegunner's problems, could you fill me in? I hear so much about staph infections these days, I wonder if there's any connection?
