"Egyptians are not Arabs and are not Africans despite the fact that Egypt is in Africa,"
Well, they are Africans, since they lived and continue to live in Africa. They weren't and aren't primarily sub-Saharan or black Africans, though.
Quite honestly, I don't believe there are very many people of whatever ethnicity today who are entitled to boast about the accomplishments or culture of the ancient Egyptians. Modern Egyptians turned their backs on that civilization with their embrace of Islam and other religions. And it makes about as much sense for a person originating from West Africa to lay claim to ancient Egypt as it does for an Irishman to claim ancient Athens as his heritage.

Egyptian antiquities supremo Zahi Hawass insisted Tuesday that Tutankhamun was not black Of course he wasn't.
Who was ever gullible enough to believe such tripe in the first place?

RACISTS !
Shaptoon and Jesse Jackass are probably on a plane headed for Egypt to assemble protesters to accuse the study group of "Racism" and "taking away our heritage".

This sad little lizard told me that he was a brontosaurus on his mother’s side.
I did not laugh; people who boast of ancestry often have little else to sustain them.
Humoring them costs nothing and adds to happiness in a world in which happiness is always in short supply.

This is a typical revisionist history attempt by Black activist and “academics”. Facts only get in the way of their ideology.

A black friend of mine got interested in all this stuff about ten years back and ended up joining a tour group led by the main “Black Egyptian” theorist/writer. After being led around Egypt and seeing the evidence of himself, he pretty much concluded it was all BS. He also realized that the street vendors had his type pegged when he’d walk through the market and they’d all yell “American Nubian! American Nubian!”

What I love about all this is that Afrocentric only focus and point to statues created by the Late Nubian Dynasty. They totally disregard all other Dynasties who came before and after the Nubians and who’s statues are clearly not ‘black’ African. Afrocentric only focus on the 25th Nubian Dynasty because that’s the only Dynasty that supports their views while all other hard evidence they dismiss that the ‘evil white men’ blew off the faces or altered the faces of statues and mummies to look “white”. LoL!! The funniest part is they don’t realize how ridiculous they sound making such wild accusations.

I’m sure that as we speak, type and read the REV-err-Und Jes-see Jack—son and Fat Al (Sharpton not Gore) are on planes bound for AFP’s offices in Paris to protest.
Fat Al will have his megaphone while the REV-err-und Jes-see Jack—son looks mortified at AFP’s claims.
Perhaps the ACLU can file suit as an ami of the court.

Major museums in the US with world class Egyptology collections, the Brooklyn Museum, for example, have polluted their exhibitions and magnificent collections with their “Ancient Egyptians were Black” rhetoric and distortions.
Politicizing art is a dangerous thing. Using art to further a racially divisive agenda is despicable.

I just saw the exhibit. It was pretty cool.
And yes, he wasn't black. Actually, there was an artifact showing him (as white) trampling a couple of Ethiopians (depicted as very black).
Ethiopia was an adversary of Egypt.

"Tutankhamun was not black, and the portrayal of ancient Egyptian civilisation as black has no element of truth to it," I believe, at this point, that the liberal mind-set is impenetrable to facts. "Truth" is not a factor they will ever consider if it goes against their "feelings".
