USS Nimitz (CVN 68), USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) and USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) carrier strike groups steam in formation during a joint photo exercise during exercise Valiant Shield 2007 while at sea Aug.14, 2007. The joint exercise consists of 28 naval vessels, more than 300 aircraft, and approximately 20,000 service members from the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard.

How’s everybody tonite?
While gassing up Moxie, I noticed that the car behind me had a Veterans plate on it.
The young man was leaning against his car gassing it up..
I thank him for his service (he served in Iraq), and he blushed handsomely and nodded..ducking his head.
The he noticed the PGR stuff on Moxie, and shook MY hand and said quietly..”Well, how cool is that?”, and quietly walked away..
*sniff*
