Calling her clueless was answering her question? I think you’re clueless, I didn’t say you did criticize her appearance.

Well I dont know what he is talking about. You know the kind of clothes I wear. I would live in my bathing suits all summer if I could. I am in & out of the pool & river all day so more or less I do. I bet I have at least a dozen or more just from this year. I need them for the hot tub & sauna in the winter. I don’t wear bikini’s though. They just don’t fit me as well as I like . I like the high cut suits that show off my legs & the ones with less back. At least I don’t have the need to wear any padded ones. rofl... High heels look silly with bathing suits too IMO. Same thing, did you actually get that post??? Toe rings and ankle bracelets fall off, a LOT. We find them all the time metal detecting, thought the ones I've tended to find are antique ones for infants as I specialize in deep turf (i.e. old parks, schools, lawns) and demolition site hunting. I guess they were more popular for infants in the past...

Oh, socks and flip flops - now that is a bad combo.
Paula, mules are very stylish shoes. I'm really glad there is nothing more pressing in your life than a need to complain about someone wearing shoes to a job in an air conditioned building, where they are doing some type of work that benefits someone, somewhere.
To: counterpunch
I don’t like the continual flapping of the mouths or the shoes!
But I wear the shoes all the time, when not working. LOL!

Nope, I couldn’t figure that picture out. However I think its really cool you find all that stuff. So I guess my diamond toe ring is out now if I will lose it. Since I live quite near the ocean I’ve heard of people finding rings & even old gold coins on the beaches. There is a battlefield in Monmouth Co. I would like to use one of those things at. My husband just got a metal detector but hasn’t used it nor have I even seen it. Good luck on your hunts.

Even worse was the boat-shoes-without-socks trend among us guys about 15 years ago. Breathing in foot odor on a regular basis made me noxious, even if it was my own!

Clemenza's rules of feet:
1. No white shoes after labor day.
2. Never give another man's girlfriend/wife a foot massage.
3. NO FLIP FLOPS OFF THE BEACH!

I'm really glad there is nothing more pressing in your life than a need to complain about someone wearing shoes to a job in an air conditioned building, where they are doing some type of work that benefits someone, somewhere. ...then it's obvious you have never been in an earthquake....
I was in the Loma Prieta (SF) earthquake in SF in 1989 and the Nisqually (Seattle) quake in 2001.
I will NEVER wear shoes to work in which I can't
1) run somewhat decently 2) climb down 20+ flights of stairs without holding up everyone coming behind me
I would think after 9/11 women would have more sense.

Seriously? You dress daily in case of WWIII or some huge disaster? Do you carry extra water and a shovel with you too?
Sorry you were in a disaster - many of us have lived in areas that flood or have tornados - we don't carry boats or stay near tornado shelters "just in case".
