Paul just blew it again.. he said Reagan never invaded a Soviet country.. I guess he hasn’t heard of Grenada and it’s puppet government run by Soviet Castro.

Huckabees we broke Iraq line was not a great answer. It was for 'non-Freepers'...i.e. more moderate Republican voters.

Ooops...Hannity didn't win that one. Of course he didn't allow Rep. Paul to finish a statement (like a certain other candidate) but the points Rep. Paul got out he was spot on.

I know why the MSM does not report this. I don’t understand why the government does not.

It is because there was an official ‘story line’ that they started early, and to report otherwise would admit they were wrong, and thus, lose credibility. It is easier to repeat the lie.. for the media, perception is reality..

I support the hunt for terrorists. Nation building is a fool’s errand. Democracy must emerge from pre-existing institutions — it cannot be forced on people from the top-down.

This is the first time I had the chance to see Ron Paul.
Two questions. Why did they let a Democrat into the debate?
Second, why are so many people in the audience cheering for this Democrat at a Republican debate?

Poverty and extremism foment hatred. freedom and opportunity foment hope. Its not a perfect solution but its the best we have got. Beats American women and children dying at home at the hands of crazed islamists and mexican thugs
Letting them come here leads to 9/11 and the first WTC bombing as well as the crime wave and unsustainable welfare state policies exploited by these people.
So, your answer to terrorists and Mexicans behaving thuggishly is...more terrorists, more Mexicans, welfare for the entire world along with open borders?
And you people are heaping abuse on Ron Paul? He's always opposed open-borders, importing illiterate Third Worlders, putting the world on welfare via the U.N., bringing Muslims who hate our country into this country.

All theyre going to draw is fairly wealthy young kids with higher-tech cell phones. Not exactly a representative vote.

FYI from Redstateeclectic.com
Alan Colmes and Sean Hannity just suggested that Ron Paul's lead is because "the Paulites keep re-dialing." Wrong answer. Their system won't let you vote more than once. I tried--just to see. My second message came back to me with the message "you've already voted." Don't be fooled--those are UNIQUE votes, or at least UNIQUE phones.
To test this, I redialed mysel and tried to vote for another candidate. It did not allow me to vote a second time and I got a message back saying so. So much for 'spamming' (although that won't stop the 'fair and balanced' team tomorrow from saying otherwise...)

Yea, that so called nation building of Japan and Germany really ruined us.. we all know those Nazis and Bushido followers could never be civilized and, rebuilding their countries would never be in our interest..
Kind of curious, how about weighing the cost/benefit ratio of the historical nation building (or rebuilding) we taken part in over history.. What does history show us about this?
While you are at it, weigh the cost/benefit ratio of the conflicts we abandoned.

Democracy must emerge from pre-existing institutions it cannot be forced on people from the top-down.Patreus is doing it from the bottom up. Opening factories and giving the people what all people want... an opportunity. It took us 11 year just to ratify our own constitution. Why does everyone expect success already?

I have never seen so many mental midgets in one place in all my life. God bless you Miss Tulip. I'll stand with you. When was the last time you ran for President?
"Proverb:16:25: There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."
Is this your way of saying 'forget it all, head to the hills, and live a monastic life'?
