The debate itself, to be aired on FOX News Channel and streamed on FOXNews.com, begins at 9 p.m. EDT (6 PDT).

Candidates participating...
OK...thanks for the info.
Aw, she can take it. She gives it out pretty well and often.
I know quite a few people that are intelligent enough to understand Rep. Paul's position. Of course most of us don't sit for three hours a night in front of the TV locked on Fox News either..but most are hard core conservatives of the brand the Republicans haven't seen in 20 years.
I know several people personally who used to like Paul, hell, before the past few years I kind of liked him, but I am seeing more and more people are seeing through him.. he makes such outlandish statements that people really do question his motivations. Even here, you only have about a handful of highly vocal people posting for him, versus even six months ago, it was a lot more.. (look at posts from January about Paul and compare it to posts now..)
I have not read other posts as was watching the debate. Knowing that this site will be perused by political staffs I add my two cents. My husband and I thought it was a very good debate and the candidates have gotten better each time they are engaged with each other. We agree that McCain, however we may like and perhaps admire him, is not up to the final cut. We like Hunter and even Tancredo, Brownback and Huckabee for their contributions to the discussion. We think Romney and Guiliani each has experience and capability for the big job of CIC. We like each of them for different reasons. Any of these men can run circles around any RAT Presidential candidate. Oh, forgot Ron Paul. Just as well. He will attract those voters who will not likely vote Republican anyway. A nice guy but this Presidential race is too serious to play games with. Looking forward to the next debate in October in Florida. Maybe Fred Thompson will show up for that one and we can reappraise the field.
And Dr. Mengele from Germany.
>It was funny<
Theng-u. Theng-u vera much. ;)
Ron Paul up now. Anybody going to watch Jay Leno?
Sean Hannity is now arguing Ron Paul and says he (Hannity) is in favor of keeping the department of education.
Fighting terror can be done without occupying the country. Occupying forces just present a bigger target.
I’m late to the thread but that cartoon is great!!!!
I’d phone in a vote for FREed if it was listed on the FNC list...he got more air time than half the candidates that were on stage!
That being said I think Hunter did himslef well...when they gotaround to asking him a question that is!
I think Rudy had a great idea...let Paul and Gravel have there own debate...maybe MTV would air it for them.
Don't worry, I will. I'm paying attention now.
But it is deer season you know!
You realize you disagree with Tommy Franks who ran that operation? Sorry, but I think I’ll trust Tommy Franks..
“Im not sure of the constitutionality of such a law or statute”
Apparently, it is only 7 days previous. I was mistaken. That is, however, still in 2007.
“The presidential primary election shall be held on the second Tuesday in March or on a date selected by the secretary of state which is 7 days or more immediately preceding the date on which any other state shall hold a similar election, whichever is earlier, of each year when a president of the United States is to be elected or the year previous. [RSA 653:9]”

Poverty and extremism foment hatred. freedom and opportunity foment hope.
Its not a perfect solution but its the best we have got.
Beats American women and children dying at home at the hands of crazed islamists and mexican thugs

Would you still have troops in Afghanistan? Do you support our nation building efforts there?
Hunter’s up next with Hannity.
