We all get some wrong. The difference between Dean and Felix is Felix doesn't seem to be stopping for ERCs every 8 hours.
Makes me wonder why NOAA2 isn’t sending out VDMs.
given the fact that is this strong already, and it will soon be moving over a very warm deep eddy at the same time as the nighttime maxima....the recon ifo from the next flight will be very interesing me thinks
Looks like it. Very defined.
Ouch. Felix definitely doesn’t need another full food dish.
Last few frames show Felix wanting to obey the GFDL. What do you think is the main object/feature that would bring about this left turn?
Got me; I couldn't tell you why hurricanes turn or don't turn.
I wish Felix would make the hard left into the garage, but I don't think that's happening.
I’ve been noting with great interest, the northern migration of the computer models over the past 2 days... lots of warm, moist air in from of this storm..
Just how firm do you think the forecast tracks are?? After passing the Yucatan??
LOLOL
Felix found the ark...
janet, you see a good reason for Felix to take the left it looks like he’s taking?
Beyond 3 days (hence, beyond the Yucatan), wet, cooked noodle.
Well, they haven't gone wall-to-wall yet because "Storm Stories" is on now. Money says they'll skip "It Could Happen Tomorrow" once the 8 pm advisory comes out.

I’m amazed the windspeed is so great compared to the pressure. Has been like this all day.
Now taking odds on this being a full special update from the NHC.
And Dean was just the opposite.
