What countries or groups do you feel pose the biggest threat to the longevity of the United States?

Frankly I fear the loss of hope, of flexibility and a yearning to return to the "golden age that never was" more then anything else.

The PC (Perfection or Crap) tendency that is creeping in is troublesome.

Thanks a ton for answering...I’d about given up on a reply. What you listed is quite possibly the most relevant thing to fear! Not to turn the topic sideways, but I view fear as falling behind “belief” in the emotion levels. The fact that we would even be thinking about hope is in itself an indicator or sorts IMO. Great answer I say!

Mexico is doing just fine. The corruption levels are dropping drastically as Calderón is using the whip. There have been issues and battles with police in some areas, but this has primarily been because the federal government was cracking down on corrupt police and gangs. Calderón maintains incredibly high approval ratings and the economy of Mexico is becoming freer. Mexico is one of the largest economies in the world and their economy is reasonably diversified for a Latin American country, contrary to popular opinion. As far as Latin American countries, only Chile is doing better in my opinion. It is useful to remember that the socialists got hammered hard in the last election and that today the adults are in charge.

Yeah sure it is....people are literally dying to get out of that country...it is such a paradise...(/sarc.)

You could say the same about Poland. Check the immigration stats for the UK.

Perhaps you missed my point about people making decisions on the margins. I suggest you take a microeconomics course to clear up the confusion.

People aren't leaving because life in Mexico is hell. They are leaving because of economic opportunity. If the per capita income of Canada was three times that of the US, you would have US citizens immigrating to Canada. The Polish are immigrating to the UK because they can make twice as much. You don't have to be Einstein to understand this.

You don't hear of Mexicans who are successful here returning to Mexico after attaining sufficient wealth to do so....so much for your theory...I have several friends and neighbors who are Mexican immigrants who would disagree with you also...they stay here because Mexico sucks...period...

And who is responsible for the lack of economic opportunity in Mexico...which is geographically-speaking is one of the richest countries you will find? My tag line use to be "People get the leaders they deserve"...and I think it applies here....

All is not driven by economics my friend....speaking of simplistic here is an example...you could offer me 10 times my current salary to live and work in Mexico and I wouldn’t take you up on it ...for any amount actually...been there...never going back...:o)

"historically whites have been arguably the most magnanimous, self correcting, altruistic race this planet has ever seen. "

Very arguably.*

And the idea that there are races of humanity is a social construct. It isn't "odd" when those who "disparage" (Disparage or criticize? The two are far from the same.) "the white race" recognize this. Even if a social construct, people do perceive themselves to be part of a distinct, large group of people who have a little more in common with each other ancestrally and phenotypically than they do with other groups.

*Code for: What a load of self-grandizing....

then give me an example of which race or “groups” have demonstrated more altruism in the modern era after conquest, colonization, ending slavery in the entire west, winning wars against tyrants etc.

Further we live in a western Culture here that is 80% white and before the massive immigration of the past 40 years was indeed nearly 90% white. Europe is very white indeed though the Saints are now Camped and that is changing.

These “white” cultures give and give and give more of my money and yours than any other culture-group in history.

Fought wars to free people and end slavery and oppression over and over and then did not subjugate the conquered.

Even further back the European colonizations were more benign when comapred with Roman or Greek or Persian or Mongol or God forbid Amerindian conquerors.

Give me examples of the same magnitude or benevolent intent over and over from another “group” that is greater.

White (predominately) culture in this world has basically given up it’s military and political might over weaker cultures voluntarily for altruism. It is thought wrong to conquest for it’s own sake.

That is novel.

“Or visit Quebec. Funny how we can teach our children French when both Quebec and France have strict laws about how everything HAS to be in French. Good for some countries but not good for others I guess.”

Or parts of Africa, Thailand, and Vietnam, so I read.

"Many San Francisco schools teach Greek."

I don't think the sex ed curriculum has anything to do with what languages they are being taught.

White power is a fact; just not worth commenting on in a room full of professional troublemakers.
