Text: "WE ARE ALL ELVIRA" Campaign Created Soon After Arrest of The Mexican"
Original Title: ("Crean campaña "Todos somos Elvira", luego del arresto de la mexicana.")
Radio Formula,
Monday, 20 of August of 2007
After this Sunday's arrest of the immigrant of Michoacan-origin, Elvira Arellano, who had taken refuge for more than a year in a Methodist church of the city of Chicago, a campaign in anger against the deportation of the Mexican, called "We Are All Elvira" has been started.
While Elvira traveled in a car to L.A. and was arrested by the police in Los Angeles, while she was to visit four church-sanctuaries of Los Angeles, she was stopped during arrangements of her to travel north to San Jose, in northern California.
President of the people's Center Without Borders who is also the wife of Rev. Walter Coleman, of the Methodist church of Chicago, affirmed that Elvira "is calm and with the force is continuing to fight and will return". "She has requested we take care of Saulito, her son (who has the American nationality) and is what we are doing, I already said to her that he is in very good hands and that one does not worry".
After the arrest of the Michoacana it has been decided to initiate the mobilization campaign "We Are All Elvira", and a call in all Chicago, New York and other states in the United States to follow ahead and to obtain the legalization of all the immigrants.
According to the previous plans of Elvira Arellano, September 12th she would travel to Washington, to make a long wait in front of the Congress of the United States to request that review of the initiative on immigration reforms.
Lozano declared that "on that day, September 12, which she cannot attend we are going over there to request that they support to us with national work stoppage. On that day in the U.S., that nobody goes to the school, to their place of work, that they do not buy anything and that helps us with their speaking out so that we obtain the legalization of 12 million undocumented people in this country".
(END OF TRANSLATION)
Zero sympathy for criminals, period.
Bravo Sierra
The current DU thread on this looks a lot like this thread. There are a few on her side, but the majority are glad she’s finally arrested.
“WE ARE ALL ELVIRA”
Yeah, we know that already.
Ha! I was just reading my way down to the bottom so I could say darn near exactly that.
Well it took a year but they finally got her ass back on her side of the border. I love it when a plan comes together!!
This immigration thing strikes a cord that crosses party lines.
Well we are all American here in the US and would like those idiots to repect our immigration laws. Jerks.
According to the previous plans of Elvira Arellano, September 12th she would travel to Washington, to make a long wait in front of the Congress of the United States to request that review of the initiative on immigration reforms.
I can’t help myself. The funniest thing would be if she ACTUALLY did show up to lobby Congress on 9/12. Would sure show how screwed up our borders and DHS is.
Don't hold your breath.
Duh Nooooooooooo
I respect the laws of our country..
I didnt tresspass into the sovereign borders of this nation..
I’m not living here arrogently and illegally
It is so, "we are in your face" that 90% of Americans backlash when they hear of it. It digs the illegals and their facilitators' political graves even deeper.
I think the more savvy of their leaders know it, but the rank and file are just scrambling, in their terror, panic and lack of calm strategic thinking, like lemmings off the PR cliff.
It is almost sad and embarrassing in a way to see it. But hooray for our side, as they continue in these classic, pure unavoidable and unecessary PR f-ups.
Well, then, we can deport you all. Thanks for letting us know!
Nope. I almost can't think of a less sympathetic criminal than this lady. She has straight teeth (from what I can see - maybe a sanctuary member paid for her braces), perfectly groomed eyebrows, money for makeup, and the arrogance to boot.
Hardly the picture of an asylum seeker or a war refugee who waited his or her turn in line, hoping and praying to be admitted to the U.S.
This criminal is not at all someone I feel sorry for - I get annoyed when people jump in front of me at the supermarket!!
And take the poor kid who is probably abused by your lies with you!!
They’re picking a lame example for a martyr.
“We are all Elivra.” It’s going to be gross seeing all those guys in drag.
