CAIR says "John Doe" protection won't stop them from suing John Does
Youtube ^ | 7/26/2007 | Tucker Carlson

Watch CAIR spokesmouth Ibrihim Hooper state matter-of-factly that nothing will stop them from suing anyone who dares report a Muslim to authorties and that the newly enacted John Doe provision doesn't change a thing legally.

Great. Go right ahead and sue, you bunch of desert rats. Now, every time they sue someone they will be hit with court costs and attorney fees for their frivolous lawsuits!

Perhaps ... but “loser pays” rules around lawsuits certainly would make it costly.

Keep it up, CAIR. Just keep it up.

“Its CAIRS money. If they want to waste it on frivolous lawsuits let them go ahead. Its less money they can spend on terrorism.”

Do you have any idea how much it costs to defend yourself ? The drycleaners in the 64 million pair of pants lawsuit ran up defense bills of close to 100k.

I read somewhere there isn’t a “Loser pays” provision for federal civil cases. I dont know if that’s true.

ditto, not a lawyer here either, and I know people can file all kinds of suits that turn out to have no basis - but I hope somebody on the legislative team looks into this.

CAIR disabled comments for that video.

A friend has posted a copy and comments are enabled. hehe

Go for it. And pass it around. This is a race between the Islamists and We, the People. They are hoping to pass legislation to protect and advance their cause. We have to wake the sheeple before it’s too late.

Maybe it won’t stop them from suing, but it will certainly stop them from winning, and hopefully subject them to heavy financial sanctions for filing frivolous lawsuits, as well as subjecting their attorneys to sanctions for filing lawsuits with no good grounds to support same.

Personally, I would consider it an honor to be sued by these bastards.

If I am ever in a position to report these terrorists for suspicious activities, I will make it a point to give the authorities my name and cell phone number. (I’d give my business card, but I don’t feel like subjecting my family to fatwa-inspired violent attacks by Islamist psychos.

But I would welcome the opportunity to be a defendant in one of these outrageous lawsuits. I haven’t been called the pro se defendant from Hell for nothing.

Paraphrasing Cato the Elder, Mikeus is calling for CAIR's destruction.

As I posted on an earlier thread, this is a false argument. they can be called as witnesses to determine their motives. There is no need to name them as parties to the suit.

The only reason they are being sued is to discourage others by having them worry about having to go through the expense of defending themselves in a lawsuit.

Let's start filing suits against CAIR.

1> Creating a "hostile work environment"
2> Discrimination against women and minorities

CAIR delende est.

Thank you VERY MUCH for sending me scrambling across the Web looking for a good Latin-English dictionary!! LOL!!

By the way, this online dictionary is pretty good. It was the delende which knocked me for a loop. If found it here quickly (sorry I can't remember the HTML code to "linkize" the link shown below, and am too lazy to look it up right now, so you will have to cut and paste the link in order to use it)....

There are laws about making terrorist threats.

Making statements to intimidate large numbers of people is a terrorist threat.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Is this a terrorist threat?

Just wondering, or is that wandering?

Is there a lawyer in the house? I have a question: Would it be possible to set up a website that allowed users to churn out reams and reams of lawsuits against CAIR? Even if they were completely frivolous and the plaintiff didn’t show up in court, CAIR would have to expend a lot of resources dealing with them.

I would like to see if there are any lawyers who aware enough of the threat who would be willing to form a coalition to study the problem of Islam in America.
