Watch for update.

I’m with you: organic, all the way. Now I’m wondering about all the canned meat products from Argentina, etc. Crap, I may have to go vegan after all. :o(
ROFLMBO!
That's why I said that we've got to anticipate and compensate for the unintended consequences. Don't chuck the old system until the new one is up and running.
Great. Thanks FDA for raising the prices at my local fish restaurant. I can’t tell you from the bottom of my heart how much I look forward to more regulation from the federal government to ‘protect’ me.
heads up ping...
Going to start buying all my food from local farmers.
Ping for some good (but overdue) news
The keyword anymore, I think, is “farm-raised” as opposed to the desirable “fresh caught.”
Agreed. But I'm still wondering as far as food goes, how are we supposed to know where it came from, if distributors don't have to list it? I'll bet there are plenty of these fish in the stores and restaurants already.
Maybe shrimp will get their taste back now. Ever notice how shrimp doesn’t taste as good as it used to 10-15 years ago?
We need to thank Lou Dobbs for this. He has been harping on it for weeks and weeks.
AWESOME NEWS!!!!
I’ve learned that there are many kinds of shrimp and they all taste different.
I’m happy to thank Dobbs or anyone else that keeps the tainted stuff off the market! All there stuff is a load of junk, and most of it stinks [smells bad, literally.]
Unless you need to feed your dog, cat, or brush your teeth. In which case your taking your chances.

The antibiotics are given to kill diseases these farm-raised fish contract in the filthy overcrowded pens they’re raised in. I saw pictures on some tv show—the fish don’t have room to swim and the water is nearly opaque with fish feces. Parasites abound. Germs and bacteria infest every fish.
It’s not only China. Other Asian countries raise fish this way. Mexico, South America, lots of places are breeding diseased fish. Universities all over the world are looking for cures for the virulent diseases that spread throughout fish farms. Not only are farmed fish diseased, but so are wild fish that swim nearby. In pristine waters off Chile, “Atlantic” salmon has been imported and raised in fish farms. The Atlantic fish brought diseases and parasites unknown in the Pacific waters and wild fish are dying off.
It’s a huge mess in the oceans.
Thank you for the update! I went through my freezer last week and threw out a lot of seafood I had bought at Walmart not realizing it came from China when I bought it. Now I check everything frozen because I had no idea any store was buying seafood from another country.
I’m under the impression that it would take something really bad for the FDA to ban food from the Most Favored Nation.
Oh no, not a strongly worded letter of condemnation. Those are bummers, man.
Better call Forest Gump and tell him to get more boats in the water!
