Here we are again my friends, hopefully for the last debate thread on this particular monstrous legislation. Proceedings are supposed to begin at 9:30 a.m. EST, with the cloture vote being taken at 10:30 a.m.
On a personal note, you've all been wonderful in your passion, vigilance, and commitment to the principles on which our country was founded. If I have to be in a foxhole, I want to be in it with you guys.
Alaska seems to have gotten the word this time.
At his age, he shouldn’t be wasting 20 minutes.

People, try to get the red, white, and blue colors if you can. If you want that is...not telling ya what to do...

That PLUS he and others have MBDS (Maximum BDS) and will vote against anything that Bush could use to declare victory. Anything.
It's wierd to be on the same side of a vote as Bernie Sanders and Tom Harkin, but not Bennett or Brownback.
Thank You. I have plenty of time on my hands and am sending the NO’s a Thank You card. And the YES’s I will send a note requesting their resignation. And coming from Houston I shall send Jefe Boosh to please do not return to Texas and spoil my great state
I'd like to send Sessions some flowers. Does anyone know his DC Office address? Or is he going home soon? Should we send flowers to his local office?
We need grass roots candidates at the primary level. We can fight the GOP if we have to and get them in. I believe we can. Great day for America.

Who is closest and who wants to take charge. I am in Michigan and not close enough. My $50 will be in the mail. Might we wait until after recess (the money would should be in someone’s hands by that time) and could someone deliver them?
Please add this man to your list of heroes: The great Senator from the Great State of Texas: John Cornyn.
That’s an excellent question-I thought they were about to break, so should flowers (and cards, for that matter) go to their home office or to their DC office? Suggestions, anyone?
You are right! The first cloture vote should have failed! And we do need to know who did not vote NO on Tuesday! One good thing is they (Senators) were not able to do any other harm to this Country on Wed. and part of this morning!

Sorry I forgot to put your name in.
