'Should W Consider Early Retirement? In Mexico?'
NewsByUs.com ^ | Jun 18, 07 | Citizen Conservative

Posted on 06/18/2007 7:33:22 AM PDT by SwinneySwitch

Given W’s untreatable Mexican fetish, it may be prudent to simply shove him out of Air Force One, swaddled in a golden parachute, somewhere over Mexico City.

Remember, the man is nearly 61 years old, and is obviously growing weary and older by the minute.

And why shouldn’t he be burned out?

After all, actively helping millions of illiterate peasants to invade America is hard work that would wear anyone out!

Even more taxing: Trying to explain away that invasion as good for the U.S. economy and pretending that is in the national interest to grant amnesty and a path to citizenship for criminals.

Just keeping a straight face while delivering that snake oil pitch day after day would be enough to drive most people into mental meltdown and or breakdown.

Is that where our president and Mexico’s most powerful insider mole is headed?

Some of W’s recent pronouncements seem to confirm that his mental stability is “borderline”:

In April, W declared that America needs amnesty to take pressure off the borders! 12-30 million illegal aliens in our midst and there is too much pressure on the borders?

In May, W said that the amnesty bill before the senate, S 1348, would restore rule of law.

In other words, W wants to restore rule of law by simply legalizing illegal behavior. Include amnesty and a path to citizenship and presto! the rule of law is restored.

Perhaps we should end the crime of armed bank robbery by simply erasing all laws that make it unlawful to rob banks?

It was also in May that W appointed a war czar to take over the messes he has created in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as any other wars he might fancy between now and January 20, 2009.

While he was at it, one wonders why W did not appoint a border czar to shut down the borders and begin deportations? Or is that Michael Chertoff’s responsibility when he is not busy campaigning for amnesty?

In June, W declared that he will throw an extra $4.4 billion dollars at border security, if only the senate will reconsider S 1348.

This dilly begs the obvious question: If $4.4 billion will make America safer and is vital to homeland security, why has W not acted sooner?

Like on September 12, 2001 for instance?

Clearly, W is struggling to keep track of his missteps and outright lies. He seems to be losing that battle and needs a long, long, stress free vacation.

America and the American people also need a rest. We are BUSHed, to put it mildly.

And who honestly believes that America can survive another 18 months of the W presidency and legacy building enterprise?

Perhaps a few patriotic Republicans should visit the Oval Office and convince W to hang up his pilot’s helmet and take early retirement.

Offer him an attractive golden parachute package and a luxurious villa in Mexico, and W might just take the bait.

Dropping W on the Mexican side of the border would have other benefits:

Americans would exact a measure of revenge against Mexico for dumping millions of illegal aliens on the American side of the border.

And, America would have one less English-challenged amnesty proponent to worry about!

Hi MNJ. The thread topic is the president, not the Congress, but you may have just helped point out why their approval rating is even lower than the president’s abysmal rating.
But back on topic, the issue was dead until our national cheerleader resurrected it.

Thanks Swinney. I don’t think he’ll retire in Mexico. Seems I remember Bush bought about 180,000 acres in Peru recently. does anyone know? Or can confirm? If true think he’ll go there when the $hit hits the fan. Just MHO, but I think it’s a given.

You’re right, the Democrats are the primary supporters. But they are completely on-board and are not going to change their votes; they probably don’t even have any meaningful pressure to change their votes.

However, the Democrats don’t have the votes to get this travesty out of cloture. Only if some ‘Pubbies help can they get it to the floor for a vote - where the Democrats DO have enough votes to pass it.

To make it worse, a bunch of ‘Pubbie leadership types (Lott, McInsane, etc.) are supporting this abortion, fighting their constituents tooth and nail, and the ‘Pubbie President CAN’T WAIT to sign it...

So guess who gets the credit/blame, if it is passed?

In the meantime we’re gonna pound our ‘Pubbie Senators until they understand its a potential “career-altering decision” if they support this bill.

instead of spending ALL your time fragging your own side?

Tell me seriously,if a relative took a rifle and shot you dead, are you any LESS dead because you were related to the person? If certain Republican politicians are trying to pass legislation that a citizen believes will be harmful to our country are we not entitled or maybe even obligated to speak out against it and by extension the politician who’s pushing it? If I understand correctly Free Republic is a discussion, debate and occasionally argument forum and that’s why I come here. Not just to hold hands with everybody and sing Kum by yaa !!!

There is nothing knee-jerk about my opposition to the President’s abandonment of conservative principles. No one but my children has my automatic, unconditional love and support. My approbation must be earned, and this President has done very little in his second term to earn it. What he’s trying to do now is dangerous and nonsensical, and it is my duty as a citizen to call him on it.

It’s immature to say, “he’s my guy and therefore can do no wrong.” That’s childish hero worship, and conservatives, who are supposed to THINK instead of FEEL, should not engage in it.

Hmm, I can't confirm that, but it would make perfect sense. A private fiefdom with powerful, personal security forces (read, private army), far, far, far away from the Americans he betrayed.

Yes, that's what every treasonous aristocrat should do!

Counting primaries, I’ve voted for Bush 8 times.

I’ll support those who vote against the Amnesty bill.

For the last 6 years I’ve defended President Bush on the War and all kinds of things & how does he thank me & the Republican Conservative Base? By labeling us a bunch of bigots. I will not take up for him another time, period. If he want’s to win back our support he needs to quit trying to give our F***ing country away to a bunch of law breakers. My wife works with a girl from the Phillipines (a skilled worker as is her husband) and she has paid through the nose over the last 5 years and her husband can’t get a damn green card while these yahoo’s are going to be granted work permits overnight. Thats B.S. George Bush needs to have a Coke & a Smile & shut the F*** up!

Should knee jerk Bush apologists open their eyes and ears and see what damage he has done and is doing to our nation?
Yes they should.

“85% of the votes AGAINST the Immigration bill came from Republicans.
80% of the votes FOR the Immigration bill came from Democrats”

It was voted on?!?! How did that not get reported on in the news?

Should knee jerk Bush haters consider retiring from posting stupid rants day after day after day?

Well excuuuuuuse me, but my knee-jerk reaction to being stabbed in the back and sold out is to hate the back-stabber who sold me out.

Guys like you who are "sticking with the president" remind me of the battered wives who stay with their abusive husbands.

Heck, yeah Bush should retire to Mexico. He cannot be re-elected president here, but what's stopping him from becoming El Presidente?

85% of the votes AGAINST the Immigration bill came from Republicans.

80% of the votes FOR the Immigration bill came from Democrats

Suppose you all could remember who the real enemy is ONE time instead of spending ALL your time fragging your own side?

And the number one proponent of this illegal immigration invasion amnesty is President Bush. I suppose it would not be too difficult for a rational, analytical person to figure out who was the real enemy is , and who is not what he pretends to be.

Get over the amnesty bill ? Get over the loss of sovereignty with LOST, SPP and the NAU ?

You need to decide whether the man is more important than the Constitution.

Do you know if we still have temporary placed troops in Paraguay? They were scheduled to leave in Dec. ‘06. The area of Paso de Pastriea,(spel) I believe, but don’t hold me to it.

The talk is that the Bush family bought land in Paraguay. I don’t think it’s ever been confirmed, but the land is said to be near the Moonie Compound.
