I didn't see anything posted on this live testimony. Who's watching it and what are your thoughts?
1) Nifong is disbarred
2) Crystal Gail Mangum needs to be sent to prison
3) Nifong also needs to serve some prison time
And . . .
4) Eighty Duke faculty members need to be fired.
Nifong thought HE was above the law and was the determing factor on what was exculpatory and therefore important.
I wonder if Nifong's done this before. Ditto for that lab.
The Defendants have, upon examining those thousands of pages, discovered that DNA Security ifentified DNA from multiple males in the accuser’s anus, in her public region, and on her panties. Enough of that DNA existed for DNA Security to conclude that none of it matched the Defendants, their teammates on the 2006 Duke University Men’s Lacrosse team, or anyone else who submitted a DNA sample in the investigation.
From the report - multiple samples but no number.

Thank you!!!! I bow in your general direction. All these bums care about is getting reelected. They are willing to drag out proceedings until their victim runs out of money, then the victim has to plea bargain for a crime that likely didn't happen. All this does is burnish the DA's "I'm tough on crime, so reelect my happy ass" reason for wasting oxygen.
Thank God those young men had money to fight this, or they would be in prison.

True, and for the record her is a police photo of the vicious perpetrator. Her name is Crystal Gail Magnum. She has a long police record. AND, she made unsubstantiated and unfounded "rape" claims over the years of her short crazed life against three previous males!
bump for all the breaks that Court TV has been taking. I’m glad I found this thread.
Nancy Grace hasn’t breathed a word of this case since it started falling apart. I’m sure her staff is scared to even utter the words Nifong, Duke, or lacrosse around her.
I would have more respect for her if she would gird her loins once in a while and deal with issues where she has clearly been in the wrong.
If he could make a living as an attorney he would but instead he is a suck up to who ever will vote for him.
A good example is the liberals in congress with their double speak on cleaning up the swamp.
Sorry Nancy Peloser but like Nifong when your up to your @$$ in alligators (corruption) it’s hard to drain the swamp.
Those huge ego’s can be a killer especially if your a hypocrite as Nifong showed to be over his career.
I don't think ever in reference to this case, even though winning the Dem primary in Durham is tantamount to winning the election.
On the flip side of my previous Daily Show comment, they did have the best montage showing how bad Nancy Grace has been over this issue. “DNA is the evidence that will make or break this case ... [turns out exculpatory] ... DNA doesn’t matter!”
Thanks for the update - I wasn’t aware that he had settled. Whatever he got, I’m sure it didn’t quite compensate for the cost to his reputation. Nice to see that the coach landed on his feet in another LAX job.
Me too. BTW, while he was appointed, it was with the agreement that he wouldn't run to get elected. The governor thought of him only as a filler until a real DA could be elected.
She’ll never admit she was wrong. Her mindset is to far into the feminist movement where all men are rapises, believing your’re a victim is enough and women never ever falsely accuse someone of rape.
It reminds me of a undergrad juvenile justice class I took. Our “professor” was a former Miami-Dade detective assigned to rapes/assaults. He made the claim that in his 18 years investigating rapes he’d never seen someone falsly accuse another of rape. When I brought in justice dept. reports showing the incidences of false alligations, case files filled with false alligations, he claimed I’d made it all up.
This same professor tried to tell the entire class that Tommy Hillfiger had made racist remarks during a guest appearance on Oprah. He’d even fallen for an internet hoax. Once again, I brought him in the proof of the hoax, including a statement released by Oprah herself and easily found on her website where she not only says the story is false but states Hillfiger had never even been a guest on her show!!
Instead of admitting his mistakes, he dropped my grade from an A (lowest test score ever was a 99) to failing. He’d given me a failing grade on a report I’d written citing the difference in grades, criminal convictions and gang affiliation in juveniles when they were raised in a two parent household vs a single mothers home.
My final grade in his class was an F. This grade was quickly changed when I went to the Dean. In fact, my transcript was changed within 30 days of my complaint, without a full hearing of the staff. He was not asked to return to the school to teach another semester.
I’d venture a guess Grace’s staff is too scared to bring this case up to her for fear of their jobs.
My prediction is that the criminal Nifong won’t go to jail along with the criminal false-accuser. Instead, after this is all over, they will rise to becomes icons of the left, appearing on TV, and making speeches and movies.
It is interesting to see the media types on Court Tv after almost a year of treating the Duke guys poorly, not all of them but enough. At least they are not defending Nifong.
Even that gives her too much credit. She managed to suddenly disappear from her own show the day they finally dismissed all the charges.
