I watched some of the hearing yesterday. An attorney for the lacrosse players was asked about prejudicial statements that had been made by Nifong and how the defense might have handled them differently if they had known about evidence that had not been revealed to them. Then the attorney was asked about statements by the news media. He said that they weren't as concerned about statements that someone like Nancy Grace might make, "because who really cares what Nancy Grace thinks".

I didn't get a chance to see if Nancy Grace had a comment on this.

Nancy Grace hasn’t breathed a word of this case since it started falling apart. I’m sure her staff is scared to even utter the words Nifong, Duke, or lacrosse around her.

I would have more respect for her if she would gird her loins once in a while and deal with issues where she has clearly been in the wrong.

Nancy Grace was on yesterday. She said things that made it evident that she too had believed that the rape took place. I never did hear anything like "I regret my comments for the past months" nor did anyone else ask her "Aren't you going to apologize?" like was asked of President Bush over and over for his non-lie.
