Come to think of it, I might actually have gotten something else out of this inquiry after all, as DOJ has probably opened an investigative file on me for being a rabble rouser.
You’ll most probably have lots of company, including me! I see it as: law abiding people bad; criminals, terrorists and illegals, good. Keep up the good work, though.

Theoretically they could find even more DNA from men. Its not all semen but its DNA in places you wouldnt get it from shaking hands, e.g., her mouth and both nether regions.
And some of it 3+ days old could indicate she had a strong aversion to showers or bath water.

Well there is his DNA defense in a nutshell. He didnt consider the DNA tests conducted that showed NO DNA of the players present, that showed other DNA present, and concluded that the only DNA present was over 3 days old as important.BRADY v. MARYLAND, 373 U.S. 83 (1963)
He's screwed.

I thought I read where he had made a financial settlement with Duke.
To: mware
His grand jury testimony and evidence should be brought into this hearing and made public for the first time.

I am not sure if you meant that post to me.
I was talking about the DNA analysis, not the line-up.

Nifong cannot claim he is unaware of Brady v. Maryland. Every attorney is aware of that case.
To: ladyjane
Sorry lady, naa I was just commenting as the hearing was going on.

“I sent an inquiry to the DOJ that same day, asking essentially that very question”
You might add to your inquiry:
If the issuer of the threat had been a white “skinhead” would the DOJ have acted with more alacrity?
I’ll bet you would get a real open, honest, above-board non-lawyerly answer. (smirk)

Id also like to see Duke sued by the LAX coach who lost his job in this mess.Already "settled" about two weeks ago, code of silence, blah blah. Rummage around via the keyword "dukelax".

Oh, I wouldn't worry about that. When the day comes that the govt starts disappearing people, I'll be at the top of the list right along with you.

If this was just a local story, this hearing would not be happening. Because of all the national attention, the Bar Association is going to sacrifice him for the "good of the cause".Yeah? We'll see. I've come to the conclusion that the whole judicial system is made up of rotten apples.

I can’t think of a case where a single prosecutor doesn’t have Brady v. Maryland in mind when it comes to discovery.
Nifong thought HE was above the law and was the determing factor on what was exculpatory and therefore important.
