I swear I am about ready to throw in the towel. I believe we can win despite the overwhelming bias of the liberal media. I believe we can win despite the leftist orientation of the judiciary. I believe we can win despite the liberal orientation of the universities. I believe we can win despite the traitorous machinations of the democrat politicians you mention here.
But I DON’T BELIEVE WE CAN WIN when OUR OWN LEADERSHIP sells us out!
Sorry for yelling.

Fascinating Analysis of Leftist Goals, August 13, 2006

Reviewer: N. Sincerity - See all my reviews

A former 1960s radical, Horowitz is well-acquainted with the Leftist mindset. In this book, he strives to explain the modern alliance between left wing progressivists and radical Islamofascists. He argues that this alliance is based on a common desire to destroy Western capitalism. Leftist sympathy with Islamofascist ideas makes no sense from an intellectual point of view, given that countries ruled by radical Islamists are among the most racist, sexist, theocratic states in the world today. However, Leftists have recognized that they can benefit politically from destructive terrorist attacks on the Western world. A West under attack can be made to turn on its leaders in fear and desperation (as they did in Spain after the Madrid train bombings). Only once people reject current government structures can the Left execute its anti-capitalist revolution and build a new reality that mirrors the Leftist view of utopia.

The complete and utter idealogical hypocrisy of the Islamofascist-Leftist alliance is distressing, but as Horowitz reminds us,

Leftists radicals truly believe the ends justify the means.

OK, but Bush has really messed up in Iraq. Four years after “liberation,” and Mesopotamia has gone from the frying pan of tyranny into the fire of anarchy: hundreds of thousands of refugees, daily skirmishes and bombings ... situation lost? There’s always hope, but no real sign yet of a turnaround, “surge” or not.

I had a similar response to the photo on Drudge.

You have to give the photographer credit for framing both surrender monkeys in the same shot.

A guy I knew once said the way to solve NYC's automobile traffic crunch was to make all the streets one-way westbound and let New Jersey solve the freakin' problem.

Ditto the Middle East.

Turn the Fatahs, Hamas, Sunnis, Shia loose and let Eygpt solve the problem!

Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi owe Axis Sally/Mildred Gillar’s family an apology. The acts of treason she was charged with for words said during WWII are commonplace today and can be heard from elected members of government.

Top US congressional Democrats bluntly told President George W. Bush Wednesday that his Iraq troop "surge" policy was a failure. Senate Majority leader Harry Reid and House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi challenged the president over Iraq by sending him a letter, ahead of a White House meeting later on Wednesday. "As many had forseen, the escalation has failed to produce the intended results," the two leaders wrote.

Harry Reid: More Troops To Iraq!

This last Sunday, Harry Reid, the incoming Democratic majority leader in the U.S. Senate, went on ABC's Sunday morning show and declared that a hike in U.S. troops in Iraq is OK with him. Here's the evolution of the Democrats' war platform since Nov. 7, 2006, the day the voters presented a clear mandate: "End the war! Get out of Iraq!" and took the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives away from the Republicans.

So the Democrats recaptured both the Senate and the House and swiftly went to work — to obliterate the mandate. The first thing they did was reject Jack Murtha, the man who said "Quit Now" in 2005. They voted down Murtha as House majority leader and picked the pro-war Steny Hoyer. Then Nancy Pelosi, chose Silvestre Reyes as House Intelligence Committee chairman. Reyes promptly told Newsweek, "We're not going to have stability in Iraq until we eliminate those militias, those private armies. We have to consider the need for additional troops to be in Iraq, to take out the militias and stabilize Iraq … I would say 20,000 to 30,000 — for the specific purpose of making sure those militias are dismantled, working in concert with the Iraqi military."

I’m with you R_D. With my son, my nephew, my niece, and a cousin presently in Iraq (and another nephew who could be sent back for another tour) the crap that flys out of Reid and Pelosi’s mouths makes me want to puke every time I hear them. I’d like to see someone place ball gags in both their mouths. It’s past time these traitorist self-aggrandizing anti-American pro-terrorist idiots are arrested and tried, and then executed for high crimes against their own nation during a time of war.

When I saw this on Drudge, my first thought was that if this country allows such treason from it’s supposed “leaders”, just to score a cheap, transient, political point, we are in even more trouble than I thought. This should be totally unacceptable.

I was channel surfing and landed on beck for a couple of minutes. He had that a-hole dennis leary on, and leary was trying to make sarcastic jokes about how stupid President Bush is. he also stood up for rosie, and beck was laughingly kissing his ass. I don’t want to hear any more nonsense on FR about how “conservative” beck supposedly is.

I am really getting sick of the constant treason in this country, and the fact that it is allowed on public airwaves. I don’t give a damn what beck and leary tell each other when they’re out getting drunk, but it doesn’t belong on the public airwaves.
