Reid & Pelosi: Despicable
The two lousiest "leaders" in D.C. | 06/13/07 | Recovering_Democrat

Posted on 06/13/2007 6:00:00 PM PDT by Recovering_Democrat

I just was wrapping up my night and went to Drudge...his headling "Surge has failed" made me want to punch my monitor that depicted Harry Reid's snide, ignorant face.

First of all, have the surge has NOT failed...I don't even know if all the troops have been deployed yet.

Secondly, we were told there would be tough times because of the surge: we have been losing troops at an accelerated rate because of our increased engagement of the enemy. (Nothing like losing 300 a day, though--when Harry Reid's party was running their last war in Vietnam!)

Third, the troops in Iraq DON'T believe this crap or want to hear it. I have a nephew over there flying Black Hawks, and a church friend who is a colonel with a regiment.. They believe in the mission...and they're not alone.

I tell you, I hear griping about the Prez and immigration and he deserves a good bit of it...but holy cow, folks, just LOOK at the friggin' SURRENDER TO ISLAMICIST MONKEYS the Democrat party is producing...and these are fringe elements, no, this is their LEADERSHIP.

I think Reid and Pelosi are absolutely abmonidable...and to think she is second in line after Cheney to the White House.

I shudder.

We REALLY, really REALLY have to win at the ballot box next year folks, or present and future generations will suffer.

Not much to add. I saw the same picture/headline and thought the same thing.

I swear I am about ready to throw in the towel. I believe we can win despite the overwhelming bias of the liberal media. I believe we can win despite the leftist orientation of the judiciary. I believe we can win despite the liberal orientation of the universities. I believe we can win despite the traitorous machinations of the democrat politicians you mention here.
But I DON’T BELIEVE WE CAN WIN when OUR OWN LEADERSHIP sells us out!
Sorry for yelling.

Fascinating Analysis of Leftist Goals, August 13, 2006

Reviewer: N. Sincerity - See all my reviews

A former 1960s radical, Horowitz is well-acquainted with the Leftist mindset. In this book, he strives to explain the modern alliance between left wing progressivists and radical Islamofascists. He argues that this alliance is based on a common desire to destroy Western capitalism. Leftist sympathy with Islamofascist ideas makes no sense from an intellectual point of view, given that countries ruled by radical Islamists are among the most racist, sexist, theocratic states in the world today. However, Leftists have recognized that they can benefit politically from destructive terrorist attacks on the Western world. A West under attack can be made to turn on its leaders in fear and desperation (as they did in Spain after the Madrid train bombings). Only once people reject current government structures can the Left execute its anti-capitalist revolution and build a new reality that mirrors the Leftist view of utopia.

The complete and utter idealogical hypocrisy of the Islamofascist-Leftist alliance is distressing, but as Horowitz reminds us,

Leftists radicals truly believe the ends justify the means.

OK, but Bush has really messed up in Iraq. Four years after “liberation,” and Mesopotamia has gone from the frying pan of tyranny into the fire of anarchy: hundreds of thousands of refugees, daily skirmishes and bombings ... situation lost? There’s always hope, but no real sign yet of a turnaround, “surge” or not.

I had a similar response to the photo on Drudge.

You have to give the photographer credit for framing both surrender monkeys in the same shot.

Now you have done it to me again!

NO...actually those awful faces have done it again...

What despicable traitors they are!

A guy I knew once said the way to solve NYC's automobile traffic crunch was to make all the streets one-way westbound and let New Jersey solve the freakin' problem.

Ditto the Middle East.

Turn the Fatahs, Hamas, Sunnis, Shia loose and let Eygpt solve the problem!

Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi owe Axis Sally/Mildred Gillar’s family an apology. The acts of treason she was charged with for words said during WWII are commonplace today and can be heard from elected members of government.

We went from a few years fighting Nazism in Germany to decades of fighting Communism in Germany.

The KKK remained a force to be fought in the South for a century after Reconstruction.

Wars can be won but it doesn’t mean the job is done. Never has.

divided we fall... Come on get real don’t tell me you haven’t noticed that Michael Moore and the far left nuts launched an attack against Bush on his strengths and blame him for everything campaign starting shortly after 911... They could never led a Republican President succeed going on an offensive against terrorists my God that would just undo everything that the Progressive socialists were about... I mean with that kind of political capital and a united front at home... he could have had his ownership society and made FDR’s New Deal Nanny state a dinosaur. But I digress.. Al-Qaeda found thier alliance with our political left both of them in pursuit of making Bush fail in his efforts to stop a madman from doing to us exactly what UBL did to us... The debate should be framed as to how many American lives were saved because Bush acted and removed Saddam but the liberal media won’t have any of it. They want the impression of lied us into war, war for oil, war for profit, Haliburton, evil Republicans out to get poor miss Plame, corruption and that hypnosis has worked. Now the icing on the cake is the wedge of illegal immigration which turns the Republican base in on itself...

I mean Bush fixing illegal immigration with strictly Conservative measures i.e., Secure the Border then Enforce existing law. is like Bill Clinton, in the middle of the Monica affai,r going to the GOP controlled Congress and pressing to write a law that overturns Roe V Wade. The left would have destroyed itself.

“But I DON’T BELIEVE WE CAN WIN when OUR OWN LEADERSHIP sells us out!”

“Our own leadership” is only our leadership if we agree to being led. Together we can throw the bums out and win back the Republic.

The conduct of the war was superb, up until the Iraq invasion. Al Quaeda pulled off 9/11 ... and bang! The U.S. went to their camp in Afghanistan, allied with their enemies, overthrew their Taliban protectors and started rounding them up and sending them to Gitmo. (Should have lined them up and shot them, but you can’t have everything.)

And then Iraq. Why — was Saddam either an Al-Quaeda or a Taliban? He was just a lousy Baathist dictator slowly losing his grip on power. Was he even a serious threat to the U.S.? And then, after “liberating” Iraq, we can’t pacify the place and get out, even after four years.

Like James Bond turning into Inspector Clouseau ...

(And don’t even mention the immigration bill ... aarrgh!)

The thing is, Treasoncrats like Pelosi and Reid want terror to win so much, they can hardly contain themselves.
