I know what you mean. One of my favorite movies is Shawshank Redemption, but it's hard to enjoy thinking about Tim Robbins ridiculous politics. It's like the Naked Gun movies aren't nearly as funny anymore because of OJ.
I’ve never bothered with what actors say ‘off script’. Lets be honest, they are what they are because they can mimick what others say or do.
Its not like they are ‘creative’ as they like to pretend. The average ‘star’ in Hollywood has a highschool education at best.
So I don’t let the blatherings in formats like this deter me from watching a given program.
As long as she’s only using ONE square of TP per sitting and leaving more for the rest of us, let her show her true colors.

I think you nailed it. They aren't talking to us. They don't even want our input. Instead, they tell us what they are going to do.
I had heard that Bob Barker was Republican, also, but don’t remember where I heard it.
On the one hand, conservatives in “the business” maybe don’t want to speak out and broadcast their politics, but on the other hand, maybe they’re just nicer people.
I even stopped trying to defend him to the dems in the family. He's become the family member that has out stayed his welcome by several months. You don't care where he goes, just as long as he goes away.
